Had a terrible experience with these guys. Went thru Lowes to remodel half of my bathroom. (Bathfitters had previously redone my bathtub which came out beautifully, in retrospect I should have gone thru them for the rest of it).Lowes sub-contracted New England Builds to complete the rest of it for me which included putting up wainscoting and moldings on the walls, re-tiling the floors, new toilet, new vanity / sink. For starters they quoted a timeline of 3 days for the entire job. Day 1 was demolition, day 2 was delivering materials, days 3 and 4 were nothing, day 5 was most of the install, day 6 was finishing everything. (i am excluding weekend days for this calculation, it was 8 total if you count weekends) So it took them twice as long as they had quoted, not for some kind of reasonable unforeseen circumstance, but instead for complete lack of effort. This part I forgave as they were very apologetic about it, but the final product was ultimately very bad. I wish I could include more pictures. When they came back to take a look at what I was unhappy with (because Lowes made them come back) the only thing they agreed to fix for me was 2 sections of extremely poorly done caulking, and 1 small piece of corner trim that was extremely poorly cut. All of the larger issues I had they just blamed on my house, or bath fitters, or on me (yes they actually blamed me for their poor workmanship. To sum up the specifics briefly, anywhere they did caulking was extremely poorly done, they left extremely noticeable nail holes, about 30 or so in total, without covering them up with caulking, causing me to have to paint already white trim pieces white just to cover up their poor work, my toilet is the only toilet ive ever seen that hovers about a half inch above the floor(the gap is just filled in with more poorly done caulking), they left glue and other obvious dirt smudges everywhere, anywhere they did trim molding it doesn't fit well (admittedly this is difficult to do as walls are often not perfectly flat, etc, but this is why I paid professionals thousands of dollars, to do better than I could have done myself). They put caulking im some areas and just neglected to fill in other very important gaps. The floor looks pretty good I guess, if I'm being honest. Then on top of all of that they were very rude and confrontational when I we went over the things I was unhappy with. I'm fairly handy, but for plumbing, etc im admittedly an amateur. When I finally gave up on them and just chose to fix their mistakes myself, it took me a full 10 hour day to do so. The reason I chose to pay someone else to do this work was so I wouldn't have to be involved in the process. I wanted to just pay someone and sit back and relax and get a new bathroom. And i wanted it to come out better than I could have done myself because I'm NOT a professional. Instead, I had one headache after another and my bathroom still looks like it was a do-it-yourself kind of job 0 out of 5 stars, would not recommend,
