MHB built our new home in Marlboro, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The MHB team – especially Gabe, Aaron and Than – are skilled, professional and easy to work with. It was a true collaboration, as we shared ideas and weighed alternatives together. Their partners at Helm, especially Mel and Erin, kept everything on track and helped us make the countless decisions building a house requires. The house was completed on time and within the budget we agreed to, and we love it!

Mathes Hulme did extensive renovation on our rambling old/new farmhouse, and working with Scott was such a pleasure, we felt sad when he packed up and left. His intelligence, calm, understanding, experience, and knowledge inform all his work, and his communication and problem-solving skills are excellent. His team was fabulous. There is an emotional piece to building and renovating, and Scott brought such kindness and patience to bear that my husband and I felt constantly reassured that we were in good hands. His standards for MHB work was higher than my own.

We hired Mathes and Hulme Builders to build our small energy efficient and extremely air tight 1400sq foot home. They impressed us with their excitement to build the most high performing house we could afford. They are very detail oriented and work fantastic as a team. We are very pleased with the quality of their work and our new home!
