Bill changed the whole look of my kitchen by updating our island with bead board, corbels and painting/glazing. He did outstanding work on a timely basis. We could not be happier

I had Mark Lauren Painting, owned by Bill Boal, recently refinish my oak cabinets. I have to say that I was extremely impressed at the finished product. Several people who had no idea what I had done asked me if I had new cabinets. To me, it is a better alternative to brand new cabinets and Bill and his team were awesome to work with. They were all very professional and the end to end experience was painless.

Faced with options of replacing 25+ year old cabinets, refacing or painting, we opted for Mark Lauren Painting. Bill Boal is an artisan, a gentleman and a professional. While he was patient with our decisions, he provided invaluable advice on colors, options and even other considerations not necessarily in his scope. He and his team showed up when they said they would, were meticulous in their work, and never took shortcuts. The result is an updated kitchen that looks like it was designed from scratch, not painted over. We are confident that the look and finish will last and will extend the useful life of our kitchen beyond what we could have expected. One of those too rare experiences with a contractor that we would go back to without a second thought!

Bill originally faux painted our new home 15 years ago. It was featured in Main Line Magazine and it still looks beautiful. This year we wanted to update our custom kitchen. We replaced appliances and countertops and contacted Bill to update the kitchen cabinets. We are so pleased with the result! The cabinets give an entirely different look to our home! Bill is meticulous in his work and very imaginative. We would highly recommend Mark Lauren painting.

I hired Bill of Mark Lauren Paining to refinish my dark, old-fashioned kitchen cabinets, and I could not be happier with the result! My kitchen is completely transformed from an outdated, dark and dreary kitchen, to a fantastic, bright and beautiful room that I love. Bill was able to match an off-white / glazed finish that I chose from a high-end cabinet company. And the best part is he saved me thousands of dollars. The durability of the finish is also great, my kitchen was painted over 6 months ago and I do not have one chip despite active children in the home. Finally, the owner was neat, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He helped me choose the perfect wall color to compliment the cabinets, and he cleaned up after himself so I was not left with a dusty mess at the end of the job. I would definitely recommend this contractor to others!

Bill answered my initial inquiry in a timely manner, and provided an extremely competitive estimate within 24 hours of his visit to our home. His artistic sense and attention to detail helped me to refine my vision for the kitchen. He customized the cabinet color to my specifications, and custom mixed an accent color for the inside of the glass cabinets at my wet bar. Bill's work is meticulous. The finish on the cabinets is truly beautiful; they look better than they did when they were brand new!. My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the transformation. Bill worked neatly, was respectful of our time constraints, arrived on time, finished on schedule, and was courteous throughout the process. I used Mark Lauren Painting Co. to refinish and color my 25 year old dark cherry kitchen cabinets. The president , Bill Boal is a hands on creative genius and just a wonderful man. Rather than tearing out and replacing my cabinets and paying over $60,000 , Bill spent 2 weeks and recolored my cabinets to a more modern antique white- at a fraction of the cost.
