I am a third-generation builder, and I’m proud to carry on the traditions of quality, value and integrity that my family is known for. I have been creating fine custom homes on the Central Coast for the last 18 years. Many people have seen my work in Heron Crest–San Luis Bay Estates or any of my multiple projects in Shell Beach. where I live. Before coming to the Central Coast, I acquired extensive experience in both custom and production housing with large building firms in Fresno, Dallas and Houston. Starting from the ground up as a laborer on a turn-key crew in Laguna Beach, I worked my way through the ranks of customer service, supervision and management with large companies. This early training provided invaluable experience in accurate budgeting, efficient scheduling, managing subcontractors and overall organization and was an ideal platform for the transition into custom homes. Building a custom home is a complex, challenging process. It takes teamwork. I’m as proud of the working relationships I develop with my clients as I am of the homes I build. I like to emphasize three basic principles: I’m honest I know what I’m doing I want to my clients to be happy When you choose me as your builder, I’ll work with you every step of the way. From conception to completion and ongoing service, I’ll strive to make building your home an enjoyable, creative and exciting experience. Mark Sullivan came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. We purchased a 1970s vacation home that necessitated a total renovation. He was always accessible throughout the project. This was important to us since we live almost 200 miles away. Mark came up with great ideas and his talented wife, Teri, helped immensely with the design. Mark & Teri work great as a team combining professionalism and knowledge to produce quality workmanship. They did their best to meet the deadlines and to keep us on budget. We love the finished product. It feels like a brand new home.

Mark Sullivan came highly recommended by several local businesses in the Five Cities area of San Luis Obispo County. We were elated to hire Mark last year, summer of 2016, to do a whole house remodel. A thorough estimate was provided along with a timeline for completion. I was pleased that Mark kept a tight schedule and planned workers and materials to arrive on time. His expertise saved us money and time. I found his tradesmen very professional and competent. I have since provided references to friends who have also been happy with the quality of workmanship and on time commitments. Our project was completed in four months and very close to Mark's original Estimate.

Mark did an amazing job in helping us to build our dream home. We had never attempted such a large project but he made us comfortable with the process. Mark was always spot on in his estimates for material and labor. He always gave us at least two options during each phase of the construction. There was always an upper end , dream option, and also a less expensive budget friendly option. He helped us combine those options to create an affordable home that had just the right mix of signature features. He was always cheerfully obliging when we decided we wanted a change in plans. Would definitely recommend him.

Mark from the very beginning saw my vision for my new home. Building from the ground up was a daunting task, but Mark made each step along the way easy, by being organized and communicative. I have been in my new home for year now and would not change one thing. Mark was professional all the way and continues to be after my home was completed. I am living in my dream Home!

Mark built us a beautiful 4200 sq ft Tuscan style house that was completed in 11 months. This is especially significant because of the challenging nature of the lot and design as well as the amount of detail and craftsmanship involved in the construction, including extensive stone, tile, and custom woodwork. Mark did a great job coordinating the subs--there was not a day when there was not someone here. Mark had wonderful suggestions during the whole process, and was very responsive to any concerns we had. His subcontractors were all first rate. We have been in the house for 8 years now, and are still amazed by the quality of the construction. Our home has been featured in home tours and in the local newspaper, and is just one of many outstanding homes in our area that Mark has built.

We contracted with Mark to build a house two years ago. We were lucky that the herons nesting gave us a jump on his other projects! Our house went up in seven months and we moved in just before Thanksgiving. It is perfect! He never went over budget, although we did. He proposed several details that turned out great - and his 'subs' were real craftsmen. Mark is a real gentleman and so easy to work with. Highest recommendation.

Mark recently built us a new house in Pismo Beach, California. He was recommended by other people he built houses for and they gave us positive recommendations. I was not disappointed.
