Maria's excellent & enthusiastic advice helped us to develop our ideas for the project for which she produced detailed plans and subsequently project managed throughout. She professionally took us through the planning, tendering & contracting process, selecting a builder based on availability, track record & price. Maria expertly managed the build & payment schedule, keeping it on budget, with regular meetings to keep us informed and settle any tricky negotiations with the builder. We'll be very relieved when it is completed ( soon, we hope!) but love the (nearly) finished result. As we've not done a building project of this size before we have so appreciated having Maria there to guide us through with clarity, professionalism & care.

My project was an extension and house renovation. Maria was recommended to me. I was looking for architectural services and project management. At the beginning, Maria set out the planning process and each stage of the project. The project was put out to tender and the tender document drawn up by Maria was exact and detailed as to each aspect of the building works. Maria project managed the building works and ensured the works were carried out as required. Everyone who has seen the completed extension and house renovation has been impressed as was I. I could not be anymore happier with the outcome. I could not have made a better decision than the one I made in asking Maria to take on my project. We employed Maria to carry out the full set of architectural tasks from project inception through planning and building regulation approval to project management, site supervision and final account. She was a joy to work with and behaved in a fully professional way throughout. We are delighted with the result that has drawn many admiring comments from people who have seen it. Maria developed a scheme that was really imaginative and made maximum use of the space provided while following our brief to the letter. We worked together to produce a great scheme which transformed a 2 bed 1 bathroom bungalow into a 3 bed 2 bathroom bungalow that sits perfectly in the existing street scene. We've been delighted with the quality of the architectural design and project management Maria Escribano provided for our house extension and renovation project. Maria understood our requirements really well, proposed a superb architectural design for a modern kitchen extension and then enabled that design to be realised with an excellent eye for detail in her project management. We now have a wonderful addition to our house that we are really pleased with. The extension looks really good architecturally, fitting in well with the aesthetic of the older house and providing a new modern counterpoint with much enhanced amenity including bi-fold doors opening out into the garden. This also complements the renovation work carried out in the rest of the house which has provided amongst other things solar panels and more sustainable heating. Thanks to the excellent service provided by Maria Escribano Architects, we now have a house which we are very much able to enjoy.
