I hired Marci when I moved from my house in Leawood to my new condo on the Plaza. I decided to start over with new furniture that would fit my new space. Marci was super with scale and she was flexible with her recommendations to accommodate my tastes. Then we decided to replace out kitchen down to the studs. Marci ran the whole job. She coordinated the cabinet maker, wood floor finisher and general contractor and the entire project finished on schedule. Her planning was super. She gave me plenty of time to make my selections of appliances, finishes, etc. so I was never rushed. I would recommend Marci to anyone!!

I have been a client for Marci for about 10 years. She never ceases to amaze me with her ideas, suggestions and design style. She does a great job of helping me pick out what works best with MY style, not just what everyone else is doing. She focuses on each individual client and what that person is looking for. She can find everything for you if you want, or make suggestions as to what to look for (design of furniture, accent pieces, etc.) and I find it on my own instead of paying her to search for me. Often I bounce color ideas off of her and she always points me in the right direction, saving me countless hours of time researching. She has a knack for pulling everything together and tying in each room in your home, but making sure to give each room it's own character at the same time. I would be at a loss and my home would not be nearly as beautiful without Marci's help and amazing ideas and recommendations.

I've used Marci for several years now from a complete basement remodel to just updating some accessories. She has been so helpful picking new colors and ensuring that I only spend big money on the things that I should. She's great at using your existing furniture/accessories and just updating a few things to make it look fresh. She has all the connections with the right stores, vendors, etc..; however, she is also able to go to Target or World Market and find you something comparable if she doesn't feel like you should go the "designer" route. I love that I have a mix of high and low end in my house. She has the right eye to pull it all together.

I have built two houses in the past 8 years and Marci has helped me with both of them. I would have been lost without her! Marci has a great eye for color and furniture placement. She really thought through the flow of the house and how the space was going to be used. She got a sense of my style and did a great job of making the house reflect that. Marci was also mindful of the fact that I had a budget for decorating and helped me choose solid, high-quality pieces of furniture that weren't ridiculously expensive. Some of the throw pillows she picked out came from Target and they worked perfectly. We are planning a large commercial remodel next year and I have already asked her to help out with it. I can't imagine creating a new space without having Marci there to fine-tune things!

I really enjoy working with Marci. As a busy mom, I appreciate that she is on time, does what she says she is going to do, and really listens to what I am looking for and what I need. I have worked with designers in the past and two things stand out in my mind that differentiates Marci from the others. First, she is willing to work with and around what I already have and second, we do not need to blow the budget on every project. My husband was hesitant to hire a designer when we were buying a new house and doing a massive remodel. After all we know what we like, right? Within the first hour we met Marci we had every paint color for the new house picked out! I simply can't say enough about Marci Knoff and Room by Room Interiors. We renovated our 4400 square foot home which lasted almost a year. We took the entire home down to the studs and completely rebuilt the home with an entirely new interior. Her vision, attention to detail and creative ideas changed this house into a beautiful family home with gorgeous space for entertaining - the result is stunning. She was crucial in every step, from the design phase with the architect, construction phase with the builder, and finishing stage with all of the interior decor. We are thrilled with the results!

After recently moving to a bigger home, my husband and I became overwhelmed by the daunting task of renovating and furnishing it. We were coming from a very small three bedroom, one bath to a larger house and quickly realized we had no idea what we were doing. We needed to renovate the first floor, including the kitchen, and knew what materials we liked but struggled to find a kitchen layout that worked for us. We also wanted our kitchen and family room, which are open to one another, to have some semblance of style but remain approachable and, with two young boys, to be practical and durable. After continually seeing Marci's beautiful work in other homes we decided to solicit her help, and we are so glad we did! Working with Marci has been incredible. She quickly identified "our style" and, while staying true to our budget, accomplished all of our goals. Marci listens, provides great advice and feedback, and has a way of being able to find things that we'd never think of but are exactly what we want in our home. I have worked with Marci on several projects in our home, ranging from straightforward "decorating" services to significant renovation of a kitchen and the addition of a mudroom/office space. We just started the process of building a new home and the best compliment I can give Marci is that my husband only agreed to build a house if Marci was a part of the team.
