Craftsman Jesus Moulinet of Made Up Again is a wonderful professional who is exceptionally talented in woodworking. He worked closely with us in creating 2 end tables for our living room and an occasional table in our entryway, suiting our needs and decor perfectly. Mr. Moulinet is especially gifted in working with reclaimed wood. Many times there is history involved in the wood pieces selected, and Mr. Moulinet will research the history. The provenance that sometimes can be provided, makes your finished product all the more special. We requested a unique pieces of wood with much character to create new top mountings for 3 base structures we had in our possession. Mr. Moulinet worked closely with us and kept us informed during every step in the process from selection of the wood, to design, cuts and finishes and final install of the pieces. He went the extra mile and enhanced our new furniture by providing provenance for the wood in an interesting printed document we can share with family and friends. He is highly knowledgeable and experienced, with a wonderful attitude to work with the most discerning of clients. He creates beautiful custom pieces. Love my new and unexpected kitchen decor! I remodeled the kitchen recently in my favorite black and white color scheme and I was looking for some unique artwork for the counter to complement my choice. I saw some one-of-a-kind pieces from "Made Up Again" and asked Jesus Moulinet if he could possibly create something on a smaller scale for me. I had the idea of using dominos for the obvious color reasons. I am now the proud owner of a set of six oversized, antiqued dominos, each pegged onto a polished wooden stand. The dominos are completely to scale and look like they are ready for a game. They evoke a sense of playfulness totally unexpected in the kitchen. The graduated heights of the stands makes for a finer visual interest in the display. These are truly a wonderful addition to my kitchen and this art could really be displayed anywhere in the house. While I had the original idea, Jesus Moulinet brought the concept to life with his fine eye for detail and his vision for the type of materials and finishing touches the pieces needed. He's a master craftsman!

I was at Jesus Moulinet’s workshop and saw this bench which had an attractive piece of spalted elm wood for a seat. I was looking for an entry hall occasional table. I took the measurements home and found that the size of the seat was perfect match for the entry hall. I asked Jesus if he could change it into a table and I was excited about the possibility. In his research he did not find any more spalted elm but he asked that I come check pictures for leg styles. I did and what I thought would look best in my home décor was also his first choice. He searched for wood that had some of the same color values that was present in the spalted elm. He found a piece of sycamore and he enhanced its character by expanding a crack into deeper tones that reflected those of the table top for one leg. The other leg has the outside trunk edge of the sycamore wood that again works with the range of colors present in the spalted elm. Note also the placement and shape of the cross member stabilizing the legs. Again this shows distinctive, creative work. The top seems to float due to the use of 2 round Lucite rods at the top of each leg. Jesus is a creative genius and an impeccable craftsman. He has a critical eye for details. I enjoyed the process of creating something unique and a priceless one-of-a-kind design. It was apparent to me that he allows the wood to “talk” to him.

Jesus made a display table for a commemorative handgun I bought for my husband. The table is stunning! It is made from spalted oak and mesquite. The wood grains are beautiful and unique and the craftsmanship is gallery quality. We are very proud to "show off" the table to visitors. It was delivered on time and in budget. All in all, a perfect experience with a true professional.

I purchased a custom Spelted Elm Coffee Table with Precious Stone Inlay for my home and it is even more beautiful than I could ever imagine! It's more than a piece of furniture, it's art! I am so happy with it.. Not only is the table amazing but Jesus is extremely professional,.And he personally delivered the table and took time to explain how it was made and how to care for it. After finding Made Up Again at well known antique market and purchasing a few items off the floor, we quickly grew to appreciate their quality and creative eye for custom designed product. We have since commissioned Made Up Again to create multiple custom pieces for clients and have continued to be thoroughly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of each item. Beyond the final result, Made Up Again has been incredibly easy to work with and full of constructive ideas to incorporate in each of their custom pieces that we have designed.

Having seen some of the work that Made Up Again created from scratch (Big Green Egg stand, chandeliers, tables), we decided that JM (owner) would be the perfect person to create some accent pieces for our home. We were completely blown away by the artistic ability of JM and Made Up Again to transform scrap and miscellaneous pieces of wood, metal, and other materials to create stunning masterpieces. We wanted eco-friendly yet stylish works of art to add life and conversation pieces to our home - and we were so happy with what we received. I recently purchased a bedroom set from Restoration Hardware (Maison Collection) and wanted a mirror to match my new bedroom set. Nail heads are very popular and seem to be the current trend with furniture design but I was unable to find a mirror that would match. Jesus Moulinet was able to craft and design a floor mirror that matched my set. It's absolutely gorgeous!! I am so happy and impressed with his craftsmanship. He added the same linen that is on my bed and incorporated the linen on my mirror and added the nail heads which were identical to my bed, along with the same wood color to match!! The quality is solid and I have received numerous compliments on my beautiful mirror!!! Thank you Made Up Again!! You "completed" my dream bedroom!!!

We purchased two lamps from Made Up Again and they are beautiful. The workmanship is top notch and they even came with lovely unique shades just perect for each lamp. I also love the fact that they are one of a kind.

Jesus Moulinet ("Made Up Again") is an amazing craftsman, producing one-of-a-kind furniture, lighting and accent pieces - both large and small, from wood and metal - for the creatively decorated home. As one example of his unique ability to envision a project and then execute it to perfection, Jesus bravely took on an assignment for us to build a beautiful wood frame to hold a 4-panel silk screen (6'4" x 4') and then mount it to the wall surrounding our bedroom TV. The panels are opened to watch TV and then when closed showcase a decorative piece for our room.
