Lynnette helped us with plans and ideas for a major remodel to our home. The remodel included adding over 800 square feet. She gave us ideas for re-configuring existing space to expand our kitchen more than doubling the size and adding function, flow and beauty. The plans included improving our living room, expanding our family room and adding a beautiful master suite including a whole new walk in closet and master bath. She also had great ideas for relocating the laundry and re-purposing the previous laundry area which adds convenience to our day to day living. We liked using her instead of an architect because she really thought, not just about the structure, but about the flow of the interior spaces and aesthetics inside and outside the house. For the structural expertise we were able to hire a structural engineer for a few details and skip the costly architect altogether. We highly recommend Lynette for any remodeling needs that you might have. She was very patient with us and was an absolute delight to work with.

She is always open to making any changes that may help the projects work out best for her clients. When our contractor strongly urged us to contact Lynnette Hardy to help us with our kitchen renovation, we were a bit skeptical. My husband and I had misgivings because we have very little experience with designers, and the little we have had has been mixed. We both have strong likes and dislikes, and we don't always agree with each other, which can make it difficult to work with a third party. Well, all I can say is that our contractor was very right to steer us toward Lynnette. She is very fast, she has tons of ideas, she has a great sense of humor and she's full of enthusiasm. She was able to handle all of our questions with great skill and kindness. Lynnette saw possibilities that our contractor didn't see. She was also tactful about our color preferences and yet assertive when she felt we might be going off the rails. The result was that we felt we could rely on her to give us the straight scoop. She wasn't intimidated by the contractor or anyone else but really held her own. We showed our picks for our kitchen to a lot of our friends and it was great to hear everyone's thoughts. But Lynnette was invaluable to us as a safety net and a sounding board and an instigator, too. She truly seemed to be trying to understand what we liked and helping us advance our taste rather than imposing her own on us. The result is that she helped us to have confidence in our own ideas, and she made the design process a joy.

She was wonderful at coordinating with the contractor to work out a plan that would be perfect for us. I loved working with Lynnette at Grapevine Design. She has helped me with several projects including adding a large island to my kitchen recently. Her ability to assess your needs by talking about how you utilize space makes her design optimal for your lifestyle. She is especially excellent bout customizing your design to your unique needs. As we worked on the island we talked about how we would be using it and what type of storage and look we wanted and we got it all! After 6 months I am even happier with it that I could have ever imagined. Her design fees are worth every penny I paid and more.
