We had an excellent experience with the LY Green crew on our bathroom remodel. They provided us with a detailed up front quote of all tasks and related pricing. They allowed us the flexibility to find the materials we wanted or they provided alternate options. Maria, Lety, and Miguel oversaw the work on a weekly basis and made sure we were happy with the work at every step before continuing. They showed patience and flexibility when we pivoted mid project and were able to accommodate the change. The crews were reliable, tidy and good at their craft. All in all a very enjoyable experience, we were very happy with the outcome and would definitely work with the team again.

LY Green managed a large exterior siding/trim repair and painting job (taking care of some pretty neglected hardwood siding on a 4-story 2-unit built in 1900) for us in Q4 last year. Ofri managed our project, and I have nothing but great things to say about him and everyone who worked on the job. Ofri is incredibly communicative, sharing timelines and requests well in advance. He met up with us weekly to walk through and address our questions and concerns. The crew that worked on the house was SO thorough, and incredibly considerate and conscientious with our neighbors - asking in advance if and when they might be able to access side yards or roofs. Out neighbors on both sides complimented their "bedside manner!" One of the neighbors asked for a referral for a friend of hers who visited and loved our new paint job. We also quoted out another project with LY Green, and they were incredibly helpful in getting us different pricing to work within our budget. While we decided to put that one on hold, we would not hesitate to work with Ofri, Shelley, and the team again!

We absolutely love Shelly and LY Green! This was our first home, first reno (and a big one), first experience with a contractor, and we could not imagine being happier. Shelly has meticulous attention to detail. She is determined to do it right, make it beautiful, and keep it on budget. She was incredibly responsive and available to us. When a pipe cap was leaking, when we discovered water coming through the foundation during a heavy rain, she talked with us immediately and sent a crew member over within an hour. We lived through the reno, and Shelly always made sure we could come and not worry. She creatively saved money where she could, especially when we encountered expensive unexpected problems. Kept us on budget, remarkably. We felt like she was truly looking out for us, really had our best interest at heart. We had a dream team with the communication and coordination between Shelly, site leader Miguel, and the design team. The entire crew was friendly, conscientious, and incredibly respectful. Shelly turned our house into our dream home! We would love to hire Shelly and the team again for anything we do in the future, and highly recommend them!

rom the beginning I was impressed with Shelly Levy’s professionalism and warmth. She guided me through the design process to realize my plans for an art studio addition to my home. I could always call her for advice on next steps. Very shortly after we met, the pandemic erupted and our schedule was totally disrupted. She kept me posted in a timely way and when the opportunity came to start construction her crew quickly made up for lost time. Her foreman, Gilardo, was fantastic, and the whole team was organized and efficient. Even though it was a small project, LY Green Construction staff went out of their way to make me feel I was as well taken care of as any client with a larger job. Her prices were reasonable. I recommend her highly.

I used LY Green Construction for a gut-reno of my kitchen in late 2019. We tore down a wall and completely rearranged our appliances and layout. Shelly and her team turned our drab-looking 50s kitchen into an upgraded, modern, high functioning space. They have excellent partners throughout the Bay Area, including trusted architects, designers, and appliance small-business owners. They are also no-nonsense when it comes to permits and approvals. Moreover, they have outstanding relationships with their key stakeholders from their year(s) of doing renovations, which helps keep the project(s) on track. They're extremely effective at communicating; Shelly spoke to us once a week, often in-person. She runs a tight ship with respectable people (we lived in our house *with small children* as our kitchen was being renovated and her construction crew was thoughtful and careful). Finally, they have amazing instincts. Shelly and team helped us brainstorm and conceive of the space, and proactively thought about key questions, like whether our lot was level, what type of power outlet(s) we'd need, and where the load-bearing structures were. They also deferred when she felt like she had a trusted partner, like an interior designer, who could service us more effectively. Shelly and her team did an amazing job end to end with our project! Our work was a mix of structural improvements, flooring upgrades, and the installation of a new electrical and HVAC system. Shelly took care of everything from scoping, coordinating sub contractors to the actual execution. She and her team were also extremely accommodating of our newborn, and took extra steps to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. We'll absolutely use Shelly and her team for any future work on our home.

Highly recommend Shelly - honest, upfront, a professional with integrity and a great team. Very hard to find in the world of construction/remodeling. Our scope of work included removing a load bearing wall to open up our kitchen into the living for an open concept layout, all new cabinets/appliances, kitchen nook, new hardwood flooring through the whole house, new sunroom windows and french doors, laundry room, 2.5 bathrooms, partial exterior siding, and new paint and a bunch of stuff I probably left out that the team had to deal with. She did a FANTASTIC JOB. HIGHLY recommend this team.

Shelly and Ofri put their heart and soul into what their clients want and in completing the best projects possible with transparency and honesty each step of the way. They took on the project of vaulting our living room ceiling and adding new lighting. This completely transformed our home and came out better than I could have ever imagined! This is our second project with Shelly and Ofri (they also gutted and renovated our bathroom beautifully). We plan to call again for future projects! Shelly & team are the BEST construction group in the Bay! They are extremely detail-oriented and provide fair pricing for their quality work. We got a few different quotes from other contractors but it was clear from our interviews that Shelly was superior to the others based on her honest feedback on costs and timelines. We had a few hiccups with the city that Shelly was always there to help push through and we couldn't have completed the project without her. She seriously went above and beyond our expectations to help us rebuild this home from the ground up - and we couldn't be happier!!!
