Kurtz Millworks

We are attempting to maintain a small chalet style cottage near Blue Mountains in its original 1970's style. The same warm, unfinished pine trim work was applied throughout this tiny space when it was built and it has been a breeze to maintain. I had to replace two large, triangular, foggy windows last year. Installation was a nightmare as the measurements were "off". We could not re-use the original mouldings and found that this profile was no longer available - anywhere - within 150 miles. Kurt's Millwork had new milling knives manufactured for this moulding profile and custom milled the exact moulding with no fuss. The cost that was reasonable and well explained to me beforehand. They will remain our "go-to" source for mouldings. Now I just have to find the "trim carpenter" who can and will match the skill level of the original craftsman!. New knives had to be made.
