Lori Rourk Interiors is a full service Interior Design firm with Studios in Atlanta , Georgia and Dallas , Texas . With over 33 years of experience specializing in residential and commercial design, Lori is able to capture the true spirit of your home or business through her design. She has a true passion for design which is passed down to each project she creates . She designs homes and businesses throughout the country ranging from Texas to Chicago and throughout Florida as well as Georgia . Lori has been featured on the Food Network channel as a designer for a show called “Food Court Wars”. She has also been published in two books as well as on the cover of eight magazines . Lori received her degree in Interior Design at The University of Georgia . She is also a member of American Society of Interior Design. Lori’s primary home is in Atlanta , Georgia where she lives with her husband of 27 years and her Rosie Rosebud (her beloved dog). Lori and her husband have one daughter who graduated from University of Arkansas . She majored in Hospitality and now resides in Atlanta .

We are currently working on a pretty big project with Lori and I am so happy thus far! After doing my research for quite some time, I wasn’t able to find a designer in our area with the style and experience we were really searching for. I found Lori and reached out to her, being from out of town I thought she may be hesitant - wrong! She was willing to meet us and discuss our project then agree to be our person! Lori is confident, yet humble and sweet, but extremely honest and not scared to tell you her opinion - which is important for me! I look forward to continuing our business relationship with her, and cannot wait to share all the photos when the time comes!

I have used Lori not only for my personal home , but I also refer her to my real estate clients . We chose Lori after interviewing several designers based on her excellent taste and flexible style. Her recommendations have all been amazing. She knows how to find furniture that is actually in stock with her local connections! Her rates are reasonable (especially for the level of taste). She is very energetic and funny, great to work with, always available. She will definitely make sure you end up with a good product, even if it means being blunt (something I value a lot). She found the perfect color for our kitchen cabinets- so bold and wonderful! I would definitely recommend her services (in fact, I have recommended her to a few friends already).

I worked with Lori on A&E’s Emmy Nominated home design show “Sell This House”. Lori was one of the few chosen Interior Designers for my show! What sets Lori apart from the rest is that she is so In tune with the clients needs and perspective. She knows how to create her clients dreams by digging into what they love and what attracts them. She listens and cares. She is pure magic! I’ve witnessed her talent many times and every time she just knows how to create the perfect design.

I was hesitant to use an interior designer, but Lori came highly recommended. After meeting her and discussing the projects, I felt like we were in good hands. I cannot say enough good things about Lori! Not only is she super fun to work with but she is unbelievably talented! She is a true visionary and is so creative with the way she uses space. Lori designed my formal living and delivered results that were just exceptional. The room had some challenges that Lori was able to address with very stylish and clever solutions: 22 ft height, weird wall nooks, irregular shaped space, wall of tall windows, feng shui restrictions that I had, etc. She was a pleasure to work with and recommended all the right subcontractors for a very successful installation. The finished space is no different than what you would see out of an interior design magazine...not surprisingly because Lori’s work has been showcased in all kinds of magazines!

Being on a budget can be nerve-racking when trying to decorate a home. I didn't know where to start. Of course I wanted to spend as little as possible but look like a million bucks. Lori agreed to work room by room, adding as much or as little as I wanted. I've had nothing but compliments, and it has made a tremendous difference in my confidence level about my home. Lori is easy going, not at all pushy, was very open to my ideas and suggestions, and made the experience super fun! I'm proud of my home and never want to leave!

We have worked with Lori over the past year to complete our new home. She went above and beyond the hours we were given with her from the builder, choosing flooring, paint colors, marble, tile, etc. We then used Lori after the initial design to buy furnishings, decor, and window coverings. She has that gift of knowing exactly what is needed and where. We wouldn't have the home we have today if not for Lori. It's exactly what we wanted and could have never gotten there without her talent and expertise!
