Lori did an amazing of being able to interpret my thoughts and ideas as well as my 10 year old daughters ideas into reality! My office is now a gorgeous, modern, welcoming oasis that I love spending time in and my daughters playroom is now an inviting, cozy, fun space for her and her friends to hang out! This project has been in my mind for eight years but I just didn't know where to start! Lori got me organized, and interpreted my ideas and helped me find my aesthetic. She did the 'heavy lifting' with contractors & service providers, she sourced the perfect products and managed the whole project. We love our new space! Thanks Lori!

We were downsizing and had decided to buy my inlaws house as they were also downsizing to an apartment. My mother in law is a quilter/rug hooker/ and decorator extraordinaire- so I was a bit apprehensive about wanting to move into "her" house. I asked Lori to help me with this, so that our new home felt like "my" house, as well as feeling warm, cozy and inviting. In a matter of a one hour consultation, and a weekend preparing her ideas for me- she came up with a palette of colours to paint, as well as some flooring renovation ideas- that made the house transform itself. We had a time crunch to make this all happen, which it did, and the results are amazing. I LOVE my house and feel it is exactly what I was looking for- it is HOME already! Lori was fun to work with as well as very professional. I would highly recommend her services, no matter what the project!

I contacted LCI this summer to help redesign my main living space in our home. Our home is fairly new, but it is now ruled by a four and two year old who have design plans of their own! Lori's initial visit to my home left me excited, feeling confident that there was a solid plan to come and most importantly I felt heard. To be frank, she listened to me. She wasn't pushy, she didn't try to push design ideas, she listened to me, to my concerns, what I wanted and truly delivered on that. I anticipated being overwhelmed by this process (as this was my first design consult), but Lori made it an incredibly enjoyable experience and her easy going way, made our conversations light and fun. I could tell she 'got me' and what my family was looking for. I'm excited to put plans into action and work towards the finished product. I'm looking forward already to working with LCI again on the next redesign for my home, our master bedroom. She's absolutely wonderful!

My kitchen was worn, dark, and outdated. I had no idea where to begin, but I knew Lori did, and she didn't disappoint. A busy Mom, I had no time to scour stores, and she knew that. Instead, she did the leg work, picking out various styles/colours of cabinetry, flooring, backsplash, hardware, and paint then presented them to me. It helped me narrow down the overwhelming choices out there, to help create my functional, and beautiful kitchen.

I recently worked with LCI to assist with renovations for the main living area of my house. My husband and I were not having an easy time deciding and agreeing on colours and picking out flooring. Lori’s input was imperative to the project’s success. She met with us to see the space and understand our needs. Lori brought us samples of colours, flooring and tiles plus the fixtures that would tie it all together for our review and approval. Her recommendations were beautiful and easy to approve. Lori oversaw the whole project and worked closely with the contractor daily to provide and keep us informed on all developments. Lori is passionate about design and takes great pride in ensuring her projects are completed to her high standards. I highly recommend working with LCI!

LCI provides project planning and advice, interior design advice and planning, as well as general contacting services. We hired LCI to help us plan a renovation in our basement. We did not do the whole job we originally contemplated, mostly thanks to LCI's wise counsel. Lori was extremely helpful, knowledgable and attentive to our needs. We originally wanted to have a "cadillac" job done but were taken aback when the estimates came in. What I liked best was that she was also honest: when estimates for the work we wanted to have done turned out to be much more expensive than we had expected, Lori didn't push us to do it anyway. She talked to us about whether or not it was actually worth doing considering the cost of the work versus the resulting increase in the value of our house. She looked very hard for ways to get what we wanted done in a more economical fashion and offered alternatives. She was professional throughout and made us feel comfortable -- her goal was to meet our needs, not to push her own taste or agenda. I would definitely work with LCI again.

My basement had always been unwelcoming and uninspiring. The ceilings were low and the natural light was minimal. Recently, water damage demanded a new drainage system installation and so the basement was completely gutted and rebuilt. It was time to make lemonade out of lemons. I wanted the space to be multifunctional and inviting for overnight guests, movie nights, working out, and just relaxing. I also wanted professional results and so I called Lori Clarke Interiors. Lori's consultation was inspiring and within the hour I knew she understood my needs, likes and budget and was working on her vision. I was excited! With a few days she had advised on reconfiguring my laundry area, changes to plumbing, electrical outlet placement and flooring. She created and provided me with a mood board that illustrated the vision wonderfully. She sourced furniture, ceiling and wall light fixtures, area lighting, fabulous art, attractive accessories and advised on how everything should be placed. She was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and always accessible. Lori exceeded my expectations. My basement is now a welcoming haven of creams, earth tones and turquois blues. The sand colored sofa sectional pulls out for guests (great reviews); the ocean blue carpet neatly rolls back to expose workout flooring and a wall mounted fireplace hangs on a light turquoise accent wall. Area seating and cheerful orange throws, pillows and accessories complete the look. Lori’s expertise has increased value of my home in every way. My guests love my “Caribbean beach retreat” and so do I. Thank you Lori, I could not have done it without you.
