Lauren is an amazing landscaper/artist. She listens attentively and can execute your dream or help you create one. She will search for the perfect plant or pot to improve a front entrance or backyard. We have used her services for years and are always delighted with the outcome. She has taught how to maintain our urban garden and implement new ideas I have (there are so many amazing flowers to choose from - Lauren makes sure that there is balance and beauty). Once again Magical Landscapes has rescued us! Magical Landscapes helped us in 2014 to transform our messy garden into a beautiful space that we have truly loved. At that time in 2014, I chose to keep the bamboo that was growing on one side of the garden by the fence. I had mistakenly convinced myself that I could keep it under control. This year, in 2019, I had to face the monster that the bamboo had become, so I called Lauren to the rescue us once again. She helped me sort out the best way to deal with the difficulties of getting rid of the bamboo. But more importantly, after the bamboo removal, Lauren’s design for our garden is gorgeous and we are transformed again, and we are very happy! We were able to make a lot of changes with her guidance. We replaced on old concrete patio with a lovely pea gravel patio, and put in new plants and trees to fill in where the bamboo had been. We moved plants that we already had into better places and fortunately we protected the beautiful perennial gardens that Lauren established in 2014. Our backyard garden has never been better and we could never have done it without Lauren!!! I enthusiastically recommend Lauren and Magical Landscapes. Magical Landscapes installed a new garden for me in Weehawken. As part of the project, Lauren and her team also moved plants, trimmed my roses and shrubs in the side garden, and landscaped around the big tree at the curb. Lauren is smart, professional, and has good artistic vision. She listens well, and is very reliable. Two weeks ago, Lauren and her team worked for 2 days straight to complete the work on time as agreed. In addition to closely supervising the job, Lauren worked very hard herself on the installation. In 2000 Magical Landscapes, LLC was engaged to revitalize an urban garden that is part of the Upper West Side Manhattan (NYC) Condominium where I was both an owner and later, Board President. The garden had fallen into an un-managed condition due to a well-meaning but failed attempt to maintain it with owner-volunteers. Magical Landscapes reworked the environment, keeping part of what already existed, removed plantings not well suited and judiciously adding where necessary. In the years that followed, as the garden matured, they provided spring plantings, twice-monthly maintenance and overall management of the condo's garden. It is truly an urban oasis thanks to the planning, execution-skills and ongoing maintenance provided by Magical Landscapes, LLC. The cost of their services is always fair and reasonable.

Lauren is a wonderful landscaper who has a 1st rate fund of knowledge and incredible sense of vision for her clients' needs. I have made use of her services repeatedly and am amazed anyone would choose an alternate landscaper. I am impressed by how she works side by side with her crew. This is a rare sight these days where most landscapers sit in an office and depute their staff to execute plans that are often mistranslated. We originally hired Magical Landscapes to help us figure out our new driveway access, necessitated by an addition to our house. From there, we progressed to have them draw beautiful plans for the entire property, which included replacing a 25+ year old front yard foundation shrubs, new foundation plantings for our addition, transforming what was an unwelcoming patio courtyard into a garden with shade loving perennials and shrubs, and creating several areas of seasonal interest around the property with unusual trees, shrubs and perennials. Lauren is most responsive, goes to great lengths to understand our style, and comes up with ideas and suggestions that make our property look exactly the way we want it to look. She has also been helpful in diagnosing some plant and insect problems over several years. She most recently designed and planted a lovely small garden to screen a newly installed generator and also created a shady shrub garden along a new fence at the property line. Working with Lauren is like working with a dear friend!
