Both our staff and our patient retailer, from whom you made your purchase, have tried everything in our power to help you be a happy customer. Only a few months after you made your initial purchase, we replaced your entire dining set, free of charge. We were surprised to hear back from you a few months later complaining once again about the brand new replacement.

We had countless conversations about this matter and kindly explaining the nature of the reclaimed materials used to create this collection:

“Our reclaimed wood is sourced from various sources of recycled pine wood, all of which is solid. Pine is a soft wood, and has a lot of dexterity. However, it is a hard wood, and inevitably, a soft hard wood is likely to move, stretch and shrink in one manner or another. That is why we have designed the Settler Collection that you purchased to have allowance to move around on the top with tongue and groove construction. The finish on the collection is water based. We chose this as it is durable, environmentally friendly, and when combined with the reclaimed wood, provides a beautiful rustic finish to the piece in its entirety. When combined, this union of parts and processes in construction, along with the effects of usage, provide a comfy, folksy and rustic look that we have strived for.

I would like you to understand that we have shipped literally thousands of these tables to customers and have never had the issues that you are claiming, particularly on an entire set, and especially not twice in a row. We take great pride in our furniture and we know it is consistently of great quality. There are many people who can attest to that.

For those that don’t love the look, we offer a touch up kit that matches the finish, and can be applied to any areas of concern. Unfortunately neither your retailer or LH Imports can be held accountable for the fact that you do not like the table you purchased, because the table you bought is meant to be the way it is, and it will last for generations.”

We offered to provide you with a new table top and:

“pay for a delivery company to come to your home, deliver the top, assemble it, and remove the old top and any boxes etc.”

We are a reputable company who has been in business for over 15 years and we have NEVER had any complaints like this. Once again, we sincerely sorry that you are not satisfied, but we have tried everything in our power to help you.
