In 2016, my husband and I embarked on a major renovation of our classic stone colonial with tight, narrow rooms and expanded it with a new kitchen/FR and upstairs MBR/MBA. Lena transformed every room in the house to make each one more comfortable and inviting. She had walls removed and the main staircase moved into the new addition. She added columns, enlarged my DR and she had custom built-ins added that turned the DR into a showplace. I was amazed that as we shared our vision with her, within hours, she created a floor plan and emailed it over for our review. We wanted to make sure that the old part of the house would still be used once we added our new addition. Lena's design was to open up all the old walls to make our formal rooms almost as open as the new informal rooms. Now we can eat dinner in the DR and see the fire in the LR. She thought of things we did not even consider, like leaving the exterior stone from the back of our house and leaving it exposed in the new main staircase. Amazing! In the new kitchen, she balanced the main wall of cabinets to to have the paneled refrigerator on one end match a large pantry on the other side with a large stove in the middle. Her attention to detail was so appreciated! Her use of pocket doors saved a lot of space and they are so tidy. She incorporated a large vanity between our double sinks in the MBA. She had an upstairs laundry added in the perfect spot and it has provided so much convenience in our daily lives. Lena is a gifted interior designer and space planner and working with her was a pleasure. She was very patient, yet kept us on track and encouraged us to think differently about how we would use each new space. I would highly recommend Lena for any interior design needs!

Lena designed an extensive remodel for us. Her attention to detail is second to none, as well as her knowledge of products that are available. She is very creative, innovative and professional. Lena was responsive to what I wanted, yet she knew what would work in the space. She was available anytime to answer questions that would come up, and to offer valuable suggestions when needed. We have worked with Lena Brion Design on multiple projects for more than 10 years and she is a pleasure to work with. Everything from small renovations to whole house design. She specs out all of the details and dimensions and offers us complete plans for smooth and well thought out projects. She listens well and has tons of creative solutions. One project in particular was a memorable one due to the implementation of universal design. The design for a disabled woman was totally functional and truly beautiful. She approaches all projects this way - an outstanding blend of form and function that work harmoniously with each unique client's needs in mind.

Lena helped my husband and i remodel our condo on the beach by starting from the studs to the finished product. We explained that the salt air is very harsh on everything. Her subcontractors were of the highest quality. Since my husband was a contractor himself he knew what he wanted and she delivered. She found the most unusual woods, flooring and designed cabinets that are state of the art. She was always available for anything we needed explained. During the final phase of the remodel we were on a cruise ship in Australia and she was able to communicate via e mail to solve some last minute problems. This was very important to us since the project started and finished on time. Lena was always prompt and kept within our budget. To this day we still love her work and have given her name in reference to many people.

My husband and I had put off remodeling our master bed and bath for many years, doing every other part of the house instead. Several designers came in and found themselves stumped as to how to solve the many design and structural problems going on in the two outdated rooms. But when Lena Brion of Brion Design came in, she knew exactly what to do and how to get there and showed us what could be. The difference was because she did blue print quality drawings of every detail. So detailed that all the subs used them exclusively to complete the work: from lighting, cabinetry, plumbing, stone and tile work, floor design, fabrics and even other specialized electrical, including automated shades. Her experience with commercial as well as residential design augments her knowledge of the latest materials and effects and the contractors who use them. She is recognized by the industry for her talent, and has won several awards. Add to this that she is charming, fun, easy to work with and will go to bat for you with contractor issues and you can't go wrong. My husband and I feel lucky to have found her.

Brion Design designed my extensive kitchen and powder room remodel. They were professional and interpreted our feedback into a look and feel that reflects what we wanted and looks better than anything I would have chosen. Their drawings and plans were accurate and completed with high accuracy, and this really helped during construction because it was very clear as to how the construction from electrical, structural, etc.. was to be completed. They worked very well in partnership with our contractor and I would use them for my future projects. Lena is a pleasure to work with.
