Lavender & Lotus Interior Design

I used Aimee Brothers of Lavender and Lotus Interior Design to help with a rustic family room renovation with an adjacent full bathroom, and I couldn't be more pleased with her and the gorgeous results of her design. She is incredibly responsive, always answering calls and emails, and is extremely knowledgeable about options for products, finishes, etc. When it came to selecting the granite counter top, she really did a fantastic job. She not only went to the quarry and selected stones for me to choose from but also was present during the installation and made sure it went according to her instructions. She even saved us quite a bit of money using her designer discounts on various products. I will definitely use her services again, and have already recommended her to many friends who are also quite pleased.

After several years of planning our kitchen remodel we finally took the plunge and made it happen last summer. Aimee Brothers from Lavender & Lotus worked with us over the 3 year planning process which entailed several different designs for our old farmhouse kitchen. It was extremely important to me that we maintain the historical value and keep the character in tact. Aimee was very helpful and accompanied me on many outings to plumbing stores, paint stores, tile stores and you name it. We decided to incorporate our antique sideboard sink as well as some of the original cabinetry into our design. Aimee gladly worked diligently to design a floor plan that best fit our lifestyle while maintaining some of the original craftsmanship from 100+ years ago. The end result is truly amazing. We absolutely love our kitchen space and we have Aimee to thank for it. Aimee's warm and friendly personality made planning our project a delight and there is no doubt I will consult with Aimee for all of my designing projects in the future.

I was in the process of upgrading my kitchen and living room in my condo but had no idea how to proceed. I hired Lavender and Lotus and the results were more than I expected . This professional gave me options on decorating and why she choose these particular themes . i was always a "matchy matchy "person however she was able to guide me to "looking outside the box " and choosing colors( red, teal and black) that I never would have chosen. She also mixed different textures together - something that i never would have done on my own. I have received many compliments on my decor in my condo. ! She is prompt on returning emails and was on time for appointments . She is very personable and professional . I would not hesitate to hire this professional again !

Over the past three years, I have worked with Aimee of Lavender and Lotus Interior Design on several decorating projects within our home. I recommend her company highly, for several reasons. First, Aimee is professional, courteous and has a lovely manner. She is "upfront" and reasonable with regard to costs, both of her consultation and decorating materials she is researching on our behalf, staying within our specified budget. Secondly, she is able to methodically assess our style, taste and preference by talking to us and viewing the rest of our home. She is respectful of our input; she does not "push" her own ideas but instead presents a range of options and is able to effectively provide the pros and cons of each. She is also willing to encourage us to explore design ideas, colors or arrangements we hadn't considered. She methodically researches decorating materials and is resourceful in her search. Aimee has a "green" orientation to her work. I love that she suggests local vendors, resources for second hand furniture and accents and she will steer us toward paints, finishes and fabrics that reduce toxic exposure in our home. Thirdly, Aimee is just plain lovely to work with. She communicates well, meets her timelines and is honest and forthright. In other words, she is a talented, resourceful and conscientious interior designer and is a joy to work with!
