Laura and Laura are an amazing team and provide thoughtful and beautiful designs without compromising functionality. We’re so glad we decided to work with Laura Design Co. Our project would not have turned out as beautiful as it did without them.

Amazing job! Our house was transformed! They redesigned our kitchen to be more functional by opening it up to the living room and filling in a sliding door to the outside, as well as a providing a new layout that flows and works so much better. They listened to what we were trying to accomplish, but then created a new kitchen space that we couldn’t have dreamed of. From customizing the color to have the new cabinets painted, the hand painted terra cotta tile, counter tops, and the sink and faucet, it is all unique and nothing is cookie cutter. We are in awe of what they created. Same for the living room, dining room, and library. They talked thru each space with us to get a feel of what our goals and desires were and designed based on that. They presented everything to us before we started, which gave us a chance to fine tune if needed, and kept us updated on the project the whole way through. We never had to wonder or worry about anything throughout the project. Everything turned out amazing and the attention to the finest detail sets them apart. We will use them for all of our projects and would recommend them to everyone who is looking for the best.

My husband and I had the pleasure of receiving an in home consultation with Laura Design Company. Laura Irion and Laura Peacock are both extremely talented! They came to us with a wealth of knowledge based on our personal taste including paint colors, furniture recommendations, wall paper choices, rug options, fixture suggestions etc. The suggestions we have incorporated so far have absolutely transformed our living space. These women are incredibly kind and wonderful to be around, very responsive, and truly looking out for their clients best interest :) A space I once hated, is now my favorite room in the whole house! I wish I could give 10 stars!!

I cannot say enough about the Laura's. They helped us take an unfinished basement with disorganized ideas and turned it into something beautiful. They work so well as a team and took any ideas we had to the next level. Their process is smooth, easy to follow and very flexible. They even stepped in with seconds notice to help us make tough decisions with our contractors. We have been so happy with them that we have already started 3 more projects. We engaged Laura Design Company to reconfigure, remodel and refresh our Kitchen, Great Room and Entry. They brought our home from a strict traditional style to a transitional decor by executing the delicate balance of traditional and modern touches. Laura Irion and Laura Peacock complement one another so well with their forte of decorating vision and structural layout/planning. They devised a new layout for our kitchen which has worked beautifully. They made me feel at ease, as they listened completely to what we wanted. I love interior design, but was perplexed by the many decisions. They were by my side to lead, but yet worked collaboratively with me to accomplish the look that made our house feel like our home. They were beyond patient while I sifted through options and personal matters amidst the design process. The cabinet builder and general contractor they recommended were excellent. They were open to working as in-depthly as I requested on different phases of the project. The space turned out beautifully and now I get the pleasure of enJOYing every day in it. Laura and Laura are such lovely people to know and work with. They have become my go-to for design guidance and good friends. The "Laura's" were great to work with from the start. When I bought the house, doing major renovations weren't in my budget so I was working within the existing footprint. In our first consultation, they were able to make several recommendations that carried through the entire project (kitchen back splash, cabinet paint colors). They were very mindful of my budget, made recommendations where I may want to splurge (wallpaper....soooo worth it!) and had lots of terrific finds from Target, World Market, and other great cost-effective and readily available sources. I kept adding on to the project and they were able to exceed my expectations with each new request. While all of the main floors are finished, there are always those areas where I keep thinking...what should I do there? I turn to the Laura's and they find the perfect thing! I definitely recommend them and will come back to them when I'm ready to refinish the basement and maybe do more significant changes to my house.

I highly recommend Laura Design Company. They are very professional and through. They are easy to work with and are very considerate of what the client's vision is and the client's budget. They are also realistic of how long a project will take. I also liked that they do not take offense if you do not want to go with an idea they have. Their ideas are wonderful and I love my "new" house!!

Absolutely LOVED working with Laura and Laura! They are super sweet and very easy to work with. We started by using them during our building process, but decided to keep them on for furniture and accessories. We get so many compliments on the design of our new home. Their selections were exactly what we were looking for and they were always respectful of our budget. Even my husband who claimed “we don’t need a designer” loved them and wanted to hire them for additional projects. Definitely recommend!

Laura Design Company helped us with our master bathroom renovation. They did a fabulous job, we could not be happier. They put together a layout that worked for our space and helped to keep us within budget. Laura and Laura were able to connect us with companies for all our needs, everything from cabinetry to stone. From their beautiful mood board we were able to find everything we needed and kept us in the right direction. I never in a million years thought our bathroom could be a place that made me smile! We highly recommend and will definitely use in the future.

We've really enjoyed working with the Laura's from Laura Design Co to help us get set up in our new home. We asked them to help design the layout and draw up mood boards for several spaces then we sourced the purchases ourselves based off their recommendations. This process worked well for our needs. After the initial consultation we've been able to do everything over email. Not only do they have great design sensibilities, but I also really appreciate how well they run their business. They have a clear service model, are amazingly efficient, keep good records, and are generally pleasant people to work with. They're always receptive to feedback, though most of the time their first recommendations are pretty spot on. Would highly recommend them for any project!

Laura Design Company has been AMAZING to work with. They have created a beautiful home as we tore down our 1950 ranch and are building a new home, coined #ChantillyHouse. I had no idea what I was doing and they reconfigured my architect drawings for a more desirable kitchen, hand sketched built-ins, cabinets, and the kitchen for a perfect flow of the house, and absolutely knocked the ball out of the park with the tiles, paint selections, trim, etc. We're going to have a house that far exceeds our expectations and can't wait to move to return home this Fall! We love the two Lauras and couldn't have been more blessed to work with an fantastic team!

Really like working with the two Lauras! Very responsive to my initial request via Houzz, called me the next day and then made a trip to my house 5 days later. Most important to me was being able to work with someone in my budget and have that second pair of eyes (and opinions!) on the selections that was leaning towards. My go to sources are Home Goods, Wayfair, Macys etc and these two were game! The agreement with Laura Design allows me to use their expertise when I need it to make important decisions on the remodel. They have an eye for the big picture as I make small decisions and making sure everything ties in the end! Can't wait to post pictures of the finished project!

I contacted Laura after seeing their beautiful work at a friend's house. We had just moved into a new home and I was overwhelmed with how to furnish and decorate the family room. From our initial meeting, both Laura's were so professional and easy to work with. They listened to our needs and were spot on in understanding our style. They communicate well and in a timely manner, and were very transparent during the entire process. They paid attention to all the little details and I was able to trust them and go out of my comfort zone in selecting certain pieces of furniture I wouldn't have on my own. Both Laura's are so talented in what they do, and they really know what they're doing! When I saw our finished family room, I couldn't believe the before and after transformation. It was straight out of an hgtv show. We love the special space they helped create for our family, and we highly recommend them!

My acquaintance and friendship with Laura Peacock goes back quite some time. In early 2000's I was introduced to her work of interior design with a church in Medinah Illinois. Being very familiar with their style and quality of work I thought of Laura Design Company when considering renovations for the cafeteria here and Awana Clubs International. It's been a privilege and joy to work with Laura and Laura through this process. Their creativity, fresh look and ideas help revolutionize the space that some of us stood in wondering, what on earth can we do here. Their attention to details such as drawings, product suggestions, colors, finishes and sources were very well-documented and delightfully presented. Very easy to work with. The two Laura's brought me for a 1/2 day of picture hanging in a very large Palatine home. They were 'doing' most of the house. There are designers who stand around and dictate. Then there are interior designers who roll up their sleeves and go to work. Both Laura's (Laura Irion and Laura Peacock) are the second type. I hope to do more jobs with them in the future.

It was time to update my wall colors and I was stumped. I hired Laura Design Company and they helped me pick out the colors that made sense in my home with out having to buy new furniture etc. I'm very happy with their knowledge of decor and getting the best value for your money.

TBK Properties was converting a space from monthly rentals to The Day Offices. The Day Offices offers flexible rental by the hour. We needed to redesign and furnish the space for this use. Laura Design Company provided all the design work as well as a shopping list for the furnishings from the furniture, the pictures on the walls to the coat hooks. They were delightful to work with, punctual and professional. Most guests in the space rave about it! I would highly recommend their services.

The Laura Design Company will make you feel right at home, both with their warm personalities and inevitable home transformation! Their knowledge of design and current trends coupled with their respect for your budget and personal taste make them a powerhouse team that will make you wonder why you didn't hire them sooner. We bought a 1968 farmhouse that needed serious work. They helped my family change an outdated, ugly (I'll say it) kitchen (think pink countertops) into one of our favorite rooms in the house that is kid-friendly and functional. Their advice on wall color, light fixtures, even rugs, have helped give life to our old house. We are forever indebted to their wisdom, insight and expertise!

Laura Design Company worked hard to create a kitchen/break room for our team that is beyond anything we could have dreamed of creating ourselves! They delivered an excellent finished product and worked with multiple vendors to ensure a smooth build out of the space. They were able to find vendors to bring their designs to life in a cost effective manor, as well as work seamlessly with vendors of our choosing. Highest praise to their quality work and excellent designs. Would most definitely work with them again!

Laura and Laura were wonderful to work with. They were very knowledgeable and listened well to quickly learn our families' style. They took in all the information and added their magic touch. We love our piano room and know it is something we could have never designed on our own. They were professional yet warm. They were conscientious of the budget and meeting deadlines. It was a fun experience to see everything come together. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I have hired this company now on two occasions. They continue to exceed my expectations! I highly recommend them on the basis of their follow through, creativity and being under budget both times. That's almost unheard of!
