Kurt is an absolute pleasure to work with. I have worked with him on the construction side of the business as well as the photography side. He is always professional by replying to emails, text messages, and phone calls in a timely manner; and working with me to complete tasks within the appropriate timeframe. His vast knowledge of construction and photography pair together for the perfect combination of knowing the best type of photos to take which result in high quality images that beautifully represent the project. Kurt has photographed numerous architectural projects for me over the years several of which have gone on to be published in architectural magazines or have been used to bring in HGTV interest resulting in additional exposure for my work. He is easy to work with, has a great eye for not only the photo but also the set up and was gracious with my clients. I have no hesitation in recommending Kurt and his work to anyone. I would also add that Kurt's artistic photos are wonderful in and of themselves and I have purchased and placed them in both client's and my own home.

We always say that when Kurt sends us his finished images of our projects it feels like Christmas morning regardless of the calendar date. His images don't just capture our landscape projects brilliantly, they also tell a detailed story about how the design connects the site's natural environment with the people who inhabit it. Because he is a maker himself with extensive experience in the construction industry, he captures perspectives and details that are often overlooked in traditional landscape photography and that put his images in a class by themselves. He sets the bar high for other photographers through the quality of his work and his highly professional, deeply collaborative approach to every project.

I've known Kurt for many years and we've worked together on a wide variety of projects. As an Architect focused on high quality and the experiential aspect of each new project, it's important to me that photographs explain more than simply 'what it looks like'. I work with Kurt because he has an eye for understanding and narrating a journey through each space. His photos are honest, with a sense of playfulness and wonder. He does his work behind the lens, and typically has minimal studio retouching. He 'sees' the light, color, and form and distills a subject's essence quickly and accurately. On top of all this, he's a renaissance man, experienced in all sorts of practical and artistic endeavors, and is a blast to work with.
