For more than 20 years, Kollin Altomare Architects has designed and reimagined luxury properties in over 25 states and four countries. Specializing in hospitality, retail and mixed-use design, we provide inspired architectural and planning services from offices in Long Beach and Chicago. Over the years we’ve had the privilege of being involved in the design of over 350 hospitality and leisure projects for clients such as Fairmont, Four Seasons, Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental, Loews Hotels, Marriott, Montage, Renaissance, The Ritz-Carlton, Sheraton, Viceroy, and Westin. Kollin Altomare is a member of the AIA and AHLA, and employs several LEED accredited professionals.

We are currently working with Kollin and his team on two residential projects. Without a doubt an excellent firm with a more professional approach to the whole design and build process than is typical for residential architects. For example, during the design phase they provide 3D tools that are key to visualizing the final product, something that is very difficult to do with the usual achitectural drawings. Most likely a result of their extensive experience with commercial and retail projects. This firm is highly recommendable.

It's scary demolishing your home and creating a vision of the next. The team at Kollin-Altomare has made it both easy and enjoyable. They're entertaining people to work with; while accomplishing amazing and creative tasks. Our home isn't built quite yet, but the process of designing and creating is fun! Michael Kollin has a great sense of humor, and every single person on his team steps-up to provide top-notch service and quality. We recommend this group of professionals without reservation.

Michael Kollin is one of the brightest and most creative architects I have ever encountered. He not only designed our home but worked flawlessly and diplomatically with us (the homeowers), the interior designers, contractors, electricians, etc. to created an award winning home. We could not say enough about the pleasure and joy we have experienced living in the home Micheal helped build. thank you kindly, judy

Complete remodel of our custom waterfront home in Long Beach, CA. The design won an award with "Dream Homes". The service and end result was fantastic! We highly recommend this firm!

I approached Kollin Atlomare to assist me with the planning stages of a large-scale renovation/addition to my home. They were an absolute pleasure to work with: they were prompt in their delivery of plans, open to the collaborative process, and offered helpful, guiding insight at every turn in the process. I really could not be more pleased with the services they offered.
