We had Wickre & Co. renovate our home in 2011. We first met Glenn & Kim Wickre almost 20 years ago when they were building various new homes in Edenton, NC. We saw the quality of their work then, and new that we wanted them to renovate our home even though the majority of their business was new home construction. Their reputation was the highest quality of work along with customer service above and beyond anyone else in our area. So when the time came that we were ready to begin, Kim and Glenn agreed to tackle our two story, nine month renovation. It was a pleasure to work with them from start to finish. They are extremely organized, professional and knowledgeable about every area of home construction. From steel beam framework to granite and tile, they walked us through every step and helped us make every decision. Wickre & Co. truly defines what a "Contractor" should be. We never worried about anything and knew they were on top of all areas of the project from framing to landscape design. They were honest and on target with the budget and timing of every phase of the project. We moved back into our beautiful home in early June of 2011. We have thoroughly enjoyed everything about our new home for the last 4 years and receive numerous compliments about the design and construction of the renovation. Glenn and Kim Wickre led an outstanding team that built our wonderful second home on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We wanted a home with fine finishes and furnishings that we could live in, not the typical vacation rental home popular in the area. Glenn used high quality construction techniques and materials, and showed an exceptional attention to detail. He provided numerous creative ideas that really differentiates our home from others we have seen in the area. Kim did a great job administering the project; we received timely, detailed information about costs and the project was completed on schedule. She was also provided great decorating and sourcing help. Best of all, the Wickre's stand behind their work and have been responsive to every request for help since we completed the home in 2008.
