Hi, my name is Andy Pinder and I am most happy that you have taken the time to look over my profile here at Houzz. Based in the Kent and located just outside Maidstone and near to West Malling, I cover the whole of Kent, from Ashford, Canterbury, Dartford, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. I also work on the fringes of London, such as Bromley, Bexleyheath, Beckenham etc. I am originally from Sussex. After leaving Art college I began working in London as a Visualiser, Designer and an Art Director, before relocating to Kent, where I have continued to work ever since. At best, I would describe myself as a freelance cartoonist, illustrator and animator. I have spent many years producing personified characters, caricatures, illustrations, and storyboards for film, television, print and the internet. Having held a pen, a pencil and a paint brush in my hand for nearly all of my life, I found that Kids Art Murals became a natural development through which I could channel most of my creative and artistic skills,which was far away from the digital world of computers. I realised, that apart from the absolute satisfaction that it gave me to create an individual environment for someone much smaller than myself, there was indeed many parents looking for an alternative option, when decorating their child’s bedroom or play area. My two granddaughters and grandson are regular critics together with the children and grandchildren of other friends and families. It is with great thanks to their “wide eyed wonder and joy” that I began Kids Art Murals and I elected to offer my artistic talents to a much wider audience.
