Keryn Stokes

I recently renovated a 1967 Colonial home in Falls Church, VA, the house that I grew up in, and was looking to find a reputable experienced designer that could help me with a new kitchen/laundry room design as well as give me some input on what would increase the value of my home. I was introduced to and met with Keryn Stokes at Cabinet Showplace in Purcellville, VA, who was super smart and had some great ideas which I used. She was so pleasant and charming to work with and a super great sense of humor. I plan to renovate another home next year and plan to go back. Keryn, YOU ROCK!!!!!

We decided to remodel the kitchen of our new home and I wanted to be my own GC (and electrician and tile layer, etc.). I had a picture of a new kitchen island in my head but no real firm plan or particular experience with what works and doesn't for functional kitchens. Keryn did an amazing job of listening to what I wanted (through more than a few variations) and creating computer visualizations across their various cabinet lines. We spent significant time on small details like corners and toe kicks, she is patient! Keryn is very, very familiar with the extensive catalogs of each cabinet maker and was even able to find a close match for our existing wall cabinet doors. She was very responsive and exceptionally easy to work with. Possibly the only "easy" part of my entire project and the cabinets even arrived earlier than I was expecting.

Keryn was a pleasure to work with and she was great at communicating what was needed to be done and when so we could complete my project in a timely manner. She was realistic with my timeframe and help me to coordinate the installers. She always responded to my emails and questions quickly and professionally. I will definitely be returning to Cabinet Showplace to work with Keryn on my other projects in the future.

Karyn re-designed our entire kitchen, butler's pantry and desk area. Other designers were challenged with revising the unique island configuration and other facets, but Keryn worked diligently to provide the perfect design. Throughout the design process, Keryn was great to work with, having great listening and communication skills, being very easy to work with, and providing the right balance of input and incorporating our design elements, The final design was outstanding. And throughout the process, Keryn took the stress out of the process. She brings the ultimate combination of design expertise, unbiased to any style (contemporary, transitional, traditional, ..etc.), great listening & communication skills, and a passion and excellence for her work. Some folks are exceptionally talented in their fields, and she is one of them!

Keryn was a fabulous designer who allowed us to get the kitchen of our dreams. She gave us great ideas and advise and also recommend a great contractor. We could not be happier with our kitchen and Keryn!

Keryn is a very thoughtful and thorough designer, great at communicating with both client and contractor. She is energetic, has good product knowledge, and her clients obviously enjoy her work.

Keryn Stokes provided a kitchen cabinet and island design that fit our needs perfectly. She listened to our ideas and concerns and we listened to her advice. In the end we have a kitchen that we love. Keryn also recommended a contractor to do the installation and a granite vendor for the counter tops. The contractor, Rick Fifield, is a craftsman and did a masterful job implementing Keryn's design. The granite vendor was very helpful in the selection and layout process and they did an outstanding installation.

Keryn Stokes was delightful to work with and kept me within my budget. She provided guidance on color schemes, door pulls, and what to include in each cabinet. She made herself available to meet with me, even on a moments notice. This was a long process for me as I decided what to put in my kitchen, she was very gracious, never got irritated because I was taking so long to make decisions. Very professional
