Kenomee Log Homes

I had Kenomee Log Homes of Economy, Nova Scotia build my log home in 2003. Other than typical home construction irritations, I have, or had few complaints. Our home is in Cape Breton and on an ocean cove. Getting French Doors opening onto our deck was a nightmare as the first 3 or 4 sets leaked TERRIBLY. After 13/14 years, our roof shingles have to be replaced due to curling, especially in the peaks where apparently heat has become trapped - since there were no air vents installed to release the built up summertime heat and apparently a cheap shingle was installed. Our new roofers have discovered Kenomee didn't bother to install tar paper either!!!!! Word to the wise, watch the roofing and the doors,
