Extremely sloppy. Painted over outlet covers, hinges, handles, brackets, failed to use drop cloths consistently, painted cabinet doors shut, etc. Had to clean up spills all over the hardwood floors. Used latex paint on metal drawer pulls! Painted one room wrong color, even when it was spelled out in the contract. After he convinced me that now he understands the quality I'm looking for to please give him another chance and he will produce quality work. Paid him $1600 for the first one bedroom apt. He kept hounding me for more work. Paid him $1800 for the second one bedroom unit and quality was no better. (I had solicited other bids, as I always do and his were the highest.) I hired him because he does a good job of building himself up as an experienced, meticulous professional and he was available immediately, which should have been a huge red flag. Hired another contractor to clean up his second job and very nicely explained why I was cancelling the third job and any future work. He responded by texting me non-stop with all kinds of insults and name calling. Incredibly unprofessional. Even continued texting after I told him to please stop, so had to block him. Run far away!
