Kelle at TK Design is AMAZING! I asked her to help me with an office remodel, so she met me at my office to see what I had in mind. She asked questions about the workspace, office flow and what kind of decor I liked. In a very short time she was able to understand exactly the design concept I was searching for. About a week later she presented me with a vision board of my new office and I was completely blown away! Not only did she come up with a great design for the workspace, she came up with decorative ideas that were better than what I had in mind. I contacted Kelle to help us update our LR/Den area. After our initial meeting, I felt she was a good listener and understood our design goals. Throughout the project, she respected our budget, was responsive and patient. With the help of her contractors particularly Evan Freeman Construction and Ellen’s Interiors, she turned our living area into a place we love to be in and entertain friends. The small den was redone with custom floor to ceiling bookshelves, a built -in desk and lateral files. The shelves were subtlety lighted with light strips and look wonderful. The sliding ladder was thoughtfully designed and handcrafted. The new mantle and fireplace in the LR are perfect for our traditional furnishings. The molding installed under our bar and on the tall dining room wall updated the spaces beautifully. Kelle was meticulous in all her measurements so the furniture fit exactly. The fabrics, rugs, chairs and hardware Kelle chose complete the project. Kelle has a group of contractors who care about their work as she does hers. You can tell they respect her knowledge and experience. We would use each of them again.

We were opening a new medical office, and we knew we needed help picking out some colors and trim to make the office look amazing. That's when we called Kelle at TK design. She was amazing. We told her what colors we wanted, and that we were on a budget. She said let me think about for a couple days and get back to you. She came back with much more amazing colors than we could have ever thought about. The best part is, those colors are much more subdued and not near as bright as we were originally thinking, so it made the office look amazing! Patients were always complimenting the office and how much they loved the colors. In addition, she helped pick out some amazing furniture that was in our budget.

I'll be honest, I really didn't want to hire a designer. How tough can it be to pick out a few faucets and paint colors? But... 3 months into our project, we were pulling our hair out. A few decisions turned into literally thousands of decisions. Besides wanting things tasteful, there needed to be continuity from room to room. If that wasn't enough, we also had to make construction design decisions regarding window trim, granite edge style, cabinet glass, and what seemed like a million other things. We found Kelle at TK Design and really liked her portfolio. Our first meeting she identified and corrected several design elements we'd been struggling with. She always provided us 3 choices of things that would work, and we'd pick from her list. Only once did we have to turn down her suggestions, she promptly came back with 3 more, of which one was perfect. Not only did Kelle seamlessly pull together all the design elements into just exactly what we wanted, remarkably she also made several suggestions that helped us stay on or under budget. We got our dream home professionally designed, and with her money saving ideas, essentially paid nothing for her service. I only wish we'd brought her in much earlier!

I had the good fortune to work with Kelle Sampson of TK Design. I found Kelle on line. I knew from our first meeting that our kitchen\family room\powder room renovation was going into very competent hands. She is professional, personable and such a joy to work with. Since I hadn't had any experience with remodels prior, Kelle took the reins and got us started in the right direction, sharing different options in terms of flooring, cabinets, countertops, sinks, fireplaces and lighting options. Kelle not only designed our kitchen remodel but provided expert advice in remodeling our living and dining rooms, and referred us to an excellent contractor. She helped us save $ in buying beautiful flooring, cabinets, the back splash, and recommended coordinating appliances, fixtures, lighting, paint, everything down to door knobs and handles. Our old home has beautifully upgraded kitchen and living areas while retaining its character.

I have been working with Kelle for about three years on multiple projects she is very detailed at every aspect at what she is working on. When we decided to make our Tahoe beach community house our principal residence, we knew we had to remodel the 1980s vintage kitchen. We loved the large kitchen area, but we wanted to create a very user friendly design, which could accommodate multiple cooks. Another goal was to bring in as much natural light as possible, and bring in the tahoe views. We engaged Kelly to guide us through the many decisions, beginning with the options for layout, and then through the myriad details and decisions. Kelly was excellent, several times gently introducing design concepts that at first seemed surprising but which turned out to be perfect. The finished kitchen is wonderful, and everyone has been impressed. I highly recommend her.

We are grateful to have discovered Kelle! At our initial meeting we discussed our preferences for a remodel/updating and expansion of our retirement house. We had a sense of what we wanted but Kelle helped to clarify our thoughts and was able to transform our ideas into a beautiful design. Kelle is a great designer to work with. She has broad experience, is very personable, and really listens to her customer's needs. She does not have a one size fits all approach. She is also very easy to work with. My project was small but I rely on her experience to guide me to the right choices.

Kelle is amazing! She was really a one stop shop for me, and made it very easy for me to be able to realize my dream kitchen.
