Kay Wade, Closet Factory

My client was downsizing and we were faced with the challenge of accommodating her extensive wardrobe and accessories into a substantially smaller space. I felt confident that Kay could design a space that was both attractive and practical for this discerning client. My client is thrilled. The wood selections and accessories are lovely and functional.

Kay came out to my house to do a consultation on having our closets master redone. She was very efficient with our time and had a lot knowledge and opinions on the wealth of options for our space. She made a quick turnaround on the estimate, complete with a nice sketch of a proposed design.

Kay Wade is a knowledgeable and talented closet designer. She has designed and installed beautiful custom wood closets for my clients. She is always available and checks with installation to make sure that everything is correct. She provides great customer service and beautifully, organized designs!

Kay was amazing from start to finish. We hired her after meeting with several designers/companies. We had 2 closets we needed to do: baby closet and master closet. We are so delighted with our custom designed closets. After trying to do it myself on one of those websites, I was having a lot of frustration. We have a beautiful wood mule chest that I wanted to incorporate into the design of my walk-in closet. Kay came by, took all her measurements, then worked out two lovely designs for our walk-in, and the reach-in closet in my daughter's room that would fulfill all our needs and accommodate the attic access points in both closets. She was able to tell me all about the special little touches that Closet Factory could provide, such as the Valet Bar (get several - they are super useful). The workers came out and did a fast, fast, fast job installing the closets in about half the time they had allotted. All the edges are perfectly joined and sealed. They put down drop cloths to walk on, swept up after themselves, and were even so kind as to cut and reinstall the baseboard molding that we had pulled out to allow them to put in the closets. Because it was custom designed, every last inch of available space is used. We are so happy that we have asked Kay to return and help us out with our garage workshop space, and will also be doing the closet in our third bedroom very soon.

My daughter gave me a closet update as a present and we used the Closet Factory. I was a great decision and I couldn't be happier. Kay Wade, the designer, developed a plan that gave more room in our under sized walk in, but just as important she relocated items such as shoes making them easily accessible. Kay produced a plan that she emailed with all the measurements so you could plan where to put things. She also had a lot of good advice of how to place things and using wax paper to prepare the rods. Kay personally visited and conferred with the workers at my home regarding the tear out and installation. She responded quickly to my many questions. I highly recommend the team at Closet Factory.

My company worked with Kay and her team at the Closet Factory for the design and installation of a large, two room closet at a penthouse in Hollywood. Kay was great to work with, her team brought in some great ideas and storage solutions, and the workers who did the installation were professional and very clean.
