Kardian Construction/Archie Kobes completed our home renovation/addition to develop the basement into a suite and upgrade the upstairs. The basement suite addition included a new kitchen, bathroom, and living room. The upstairs included new windows, doors and large covered deck. Archie worked seamlessly with his subcontractors, resolving any issues that surfaced with sound recommendations for improvements. Archie’s suggestions were based on his experience and focused on our living pleasure and comfort. Many upgrades were completed to our plumbing, heating and electrical systems, which we are now enjoying the comfort and pleasure of. Archie respected our family’s daily activities, as we remained living in the home during most of the project, moving to the RV trailer in the yard during the final cut in of the basement suite. Archie’s ability to work with the city planning department, civil engineers and his regular trusted sub-contractors provided us with a great confidence in his company. His workmanship is evident throughout our finished home that we are now enjoying daily. We have and will continue to recommend Archie to everyone we know who is looking for an experienced contractor. In Sept 2015 we purchased a beautiful 2.5 acre lot with views of the Fraser Valley. All we needed was plans for a custom home and a builder. Kardian Construction fit the need completely. From discussing design, drawing up plans, producing a budget and contracting, the project was handled with skill and promptness. All of our questions were answered and we were given direction all along the way. Every time we drove out to the site, it was clean and progressed on time. We could see the quality of work and when a friend of ours in the industry came out to see the project he commented the our 'builder was a very good builder'. This was a most positive experience from start to finish. We would definitely come to Kardian again and recommend them to all our friends and family.

We hired this company to do a major renovation on our house. Archie came in and gave design layout ideas on computer program that we could visualize the changes. We opened up the kitchen to the family room and made the house a more user friendly layout. He did great work and it turned out beautiful. We had him come later to add a garage to the side of the house with a bonus room. Again we were very happy with the end results.

Kardian Construction built our house in Abbotsford. Archie took all our ideas and designed us a great home, with limited wasted space, and maximized natural light. After our first winter here, we were pleased to find out how efficient our home is. We are also really happy with the insulated foam blocks we used for the foundation, which helped create a very pleasant rental suite.

Archie of Kardian Costruction and the team who were on our renovation project were amazing! These guys were above and beyond; courteous and gentlemanly. Archie Kobes was the head contractor. Harry Lowen did the bulk of the construction and finishing. Our reno or house rebuild was a big project which involved removal of a wall to provide the open concept kitchen/living area we were wanting plus the upstairs of a large open master suite and bath, walk-in closet, 2 more bedrooms and another bathroom. This project had several surprises that presented with unwelcome challenges. These guys are thinkers with 'can do' attitudes. We lived in our home all through the renovation! These guys were so easy to have around our home and because they were so tidy and considerate, the stress level during the construction phase was very bearable. We can hardly believe this is the same home. It was pretty decent prior to the reno but now it is drop-dead gorgeous! I would like to include some stunning photos but I did not see a way to attach them in the review I sent in on this company so this is a duplicate. Review.
