Kalen construction remodeled our condo. Edward Kalenichenko had great ideas, a professional bearing and an eye for detail. He gave an accurate estimate and rendering of the remodel and helped with selection of materials. When unexpected issues arose, he handled them all with professionalism as his team tackled each curveball that are inevitable in a 50 year old building. Alex Kalenichenko is a master craftsman who did all the molding in our unit. You would not believe the precession of his work. The finished product (bathrooms, kitchen, heating/cooling, bedrooms, windows and laundry room), far exceeded our expectations. Edward is knowledgeable, approachable and responsive. It was our pleasure and good luck to have such a professional tackle our project. We enjoyed working with him and his team.

kalen Construction remodeled our Master Bath over the summer while we were absent. Edward communicated on a regular basis with pictures on the progress, maintained our home in a secure, clean and orderly basis and the end result was fantastic. Edward Kalenchenko the owner was great to work with. He listened to our ideas, made suggestions to improve on the concept, did excellent drawings of the project, etc. We will definitely use Kalen Construction for any future remodels or construction!

Edward is a great person to work with. He is the type of contractor that you hope on finding and dream of working with but didn't think existed. He is hard working, punctual, dependable, wise, kind, honest and easy to communicate with. He has an ability to see potential in a home so if you know what kind of style of home you are going for but kind of unsure or confused about the rest he is more than willing to help you out and give you his input and share any ideas with you that he think would make for a great home. He is the kind of person that can give you a different outlook and says "I think this would look better" and after it's done you realize it was even better than your original idea! He wants his clients to live in a home they enjoy looking at but more importantly he wants his clients to live in a home they enjoy living in.If you are looking for a contractor to build the home of your dreams or remodel all or part of your home he is the man!

I had a completely positive experience with the owner of this company. He offered many invaluable suggestions for my extensive kitchen remodel, including changing a doorway and removing a wall. The estimate was the final price, he worked extremely quickly, and the quality of the workmanship and materials is outstanding. In addition, the subcontractors he had for the electrical, drywall and plumbing work were also excellent. The granite fabricators were especially impressive.

Edward was very helpful in the design and conscientious about the execution. There was great attention to detail, in particular his ability to "see" the design and help us see it also, thereby addressing issues before work began. Outstanding workmanship.

Alex Kalenichenko is a master craftsman. He has installed beautiful built in book cases in our living room and a desk and cabinets in our Study. Recently he redesigned our kitchen cabinets thus creating an open space concept in our Great Room with the kitchen and dining area. It looks FABULOUS! I would recommend Alex Kalenichenko for any construction (large or small).

I had the pleasure of working with Edward after my first contractor fell through in the middle of the project and left me in an unfinished state with a kid on the way. My goal was to finish the house prior to the arrival of my daughter and Edward stepped in and was on top of the ball right off the bat. I received the highest level of professionalism regardless of the fact that it was the holiday season.
