Anthony J. Charles was born in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is a 2013 graduate of Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science. He also holds a Master of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida where he specialized in the study of exotic viruses. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, initially serving an enlistment as an air traffic controller and subsequently earning a commission. He attained the rank of Lieutenant (j.g.) after nearly 10 years of active service. He entered the profession of real estate, with his training as a scientist and analytical skills, to give his clients an advantage in the market. Keenly aware that real estate transactions are often an emotional experience, he provides balance by being an objective, yet strong, advocate for his clients. He is known as the “Kakaako Realtor” on social media due to his personal affinity to the south shore neighborhood; however, he proudly serves the entire island of Oahu. He also has experience with historic properties, having been appointed to a seat on a historic preservation commission in northern Florida where he devised legislation to protect endangered historic properties. Anthony lives with his wife, who is also a practicing real estate agent, and their two daughters in Honolulu. His personal interests include golf, craft beverages, college football, comedy, and British history.
