Juliet helped us deal with a long-overdue bathroom upgrade in an old (1903), large Swarthmore home. She provided us with three layout alternatives, discussed advantages and disadvantages of each option, considered what the removal of a wall would likely entail, offered opinions regarding colors, tile and fixtures; and, perhaps most importantly, was available for consultation at key moments of both demolition and construction. Accordingly there were no big surprises, and we are extremely happy with the result - nicest room in the house. Recommend Juliet highly.

Juliet helped us with our tricky kitchen/family room renovation. We have an older home with an addition that was put on and had to remove walls and navigate different levels and ceilings heights. Juliet was able to help us figure out not only the best layout, but ensure that it felt as if it had always been that way. She handled discussions with the structural engineer and proactively communicated with our contractor which was very helpful during construction. She listened to our thoughts and incorporated our suggestions and ideas and was an absolute pleasure with which to work- always timely in her communications and happy to help. We won't hesitate to use her again!

Working with Juliet was wonderful. We had quite a large job with the complete gut of our downstairs including removal of walls and reconfiguring our kitchen. Due to the fact that our home is old with unusual pipes and construction, it was tricky and complicated. Juliet used her expertise to design the most beautiful and functional space for our family. The results are gorgeous. Furthermore Juliet was always on time and reliable. We loved working with her.

Juliet Koczak was a wonderful architect--a pleasure to work with, open to our ideas and inspirational with her own, patient and thorough. We did a new kitchen, new bath, renovated porch, and addition. She was sensitive to the bones of our old house while expansive in offering changes we could manage. We had a fantastic experience and I would recommend her to anyone doing a house project. I might also add that she is reasonable in price and does beautiful work.

Juliet was easy to work with and stayed involved thoughout the entire project offerering valuable input when needed. We plan on using her for future home projects.

We were pleased to work with Juliet on designs for a two-story addition to our home. She really listened to what we wanted and came up with fantastic ideas and designs. We did not have a lot of space to work with due to the size of our lot, but Juliet came up with several creative options that gave us exactly what we asked for (which was a lot!). She is a true professional and a joy to work with!

We chose Juliet to help us with the architectural drawings for our second floor addition and kitchen remodel and are very pleased with the outcome. Juliet showed us her own ideas while still taking into consideration what we wanted, helping us with things like the best place for stairs and the most efficient place for plumbing. She was professional, responded to emails in a timely manner and had our drawings ready for our contractor to submit for permits on time. Juliet was extremely professional and courteous. She was interested in getting to know us and learning about our tastes so that she could design something that would fit us. Her work was truly amazing and we couldn't be happier with our kitchen, mud room and addition. Juliet Koczak became “our” architect when we hired her to design a great room addition to our home in conjunction with a complete kitchen-remodeling project. A consummate professional, we were impressed with Juliet from our very first meeting. Juliet’s ideas were fresh and creative. In a very timely manner, Juliet produced multiple sets of drawings for us to consider. She was always so pleasant and easy to reach whenever we had questions or concerns. Juliet was knowledgeable on every aspect of the entire project from the land survey, to clever ways to incorporate a foyer in the new addition and everything in between. When we considered excavating a basement area under the great room, Juliet clearly explained the entire process from the foundation up. Juliet worked well with our general contractor, providing detailed construction documents that she also took the time to explain to us. Additionally, Juliet gave us beautiful and realistic renderings of the actual great room and kitchen. These were very useful and helped us envision what the project would actually look like when completed. Without a doubt, we would highly recommend Juliet Koczak for any architectural project, big or small. Too bad we can only give her five stars!

We hired Juliet to help us for a master bath/bedroom renovation and she also did drawing for a future kitchen renovation. She provided some interesting ideas that we would not have thought of on our own which made her services extremely useful and valuable. She was easy to reach and flexible in the scope of the project and met us where our needs were. We would certainly use her in the future.

Juliet is incredibly comfortable to work with. She listened to our general vision and then guided us in areas we were unsure about while also bringing new ideas to our attention. We trusted her and the result was better than we ever envisioned. Our contractor was blown away by the detailed drawings she provided, which certainly speed up the process and likely resulted in fewer "independent" decisions made by the contractor. My wife and I both recommend her whenever someone is considering a project.
