Spatial Fx

I contracted with Spatial FX to do a complete remodel of a duplex unit. The team assembled by Jon Vaughn was first rate. Jon himself provided excellent oversight and management of the job. We were on time and on budget. Since every day that a rental unit is off the market is costly, we really appreciated the efficient manner in which this job was completed. The carpentry (custom cabinetry) was beautiful too. When we developed an electrical circuit malfunction more than a year after the job was complete Jon brought an electrician over immediately, even though this was not his responsibility. I have referred Jon and Spatial FX to both friends and clients. Without hesitation.

Jon, Miguel & Gerardo did the most amazing job on my home. Their work was A++++--we did some pretty complicated cabinetry and shelving and their work was just so beautifully executed. I was so happy. In addition, they are extremely professional, always on time and clean up the place when they go. I cannot rave higher about their work and how easy they were to work with. My many projects all came out beautifully and I would give them my highest recommendatoin.

We have been working with spatial fx for at least 15 years and possibly longer. Initially we had the team paint the exterior of our home. Although I don't recall the specific order of events, early on the team built a large gazebo in our backyard, which included a full outdoor kitchen. Later the team did an interior remodel of our living and family rooms and a portion of our foyer. This was not a competitive bid, but we selected spatial fx on a cost plus basis, being comfortable with their integrity and recognizing there would be unknown conditions once the home was opened. We sought not just quality construction but the owner's architectural eye. Jon designed and built a beautifully cased entry with built in bookcases. This was after adding structural elements to accommodate the weight-bearing open span. The finished product exceeded our expectations. Somewhere in there his team repainted the entire interior. We fully trust his team, consisting of Gerardo and Miguel and occasionally Roberto. They are all brothers and work well together. Gerardo is the lead and continually amazes me with how he figures out field problems and addresses them. The quality of the team always meets our expectations, if not exceeding them. The last project was a master bathroom remodel. Again, Jon came up with a tentative floor plan for the rearrangement of the elements. He spent considerable time with my wife visiting marble and tile places for selection. Here again, Gerardo and Miguel amazed me with their knowledge of setting tile and achieving perfection. As before, this was a cost plus arrangement. When using spatial fx one gets two areas of expertise: Jon's architectural eye and the team's quality workmanship. And I have the highest regard for Jon's trustworthiness. Lastly, his prices are competitive. Spatial fx is my go-to group when it comes to remodels and painting. I highly recommend them.
