Revient Reclaimed Wood

This company claims to provide nail ready hand hewn and reclaimed materials. That is not the case. We ordered the majority of the wood for our new home construction from them. We met with them three times on site and twice at their office in North Wilkesboro to make sure they understood what materials we needed and in what state those materials needed to be upon delivery. Despite those multiple, multi-hour meetings, that did not happen. None of the material was delivered on schedule and on multiple occasions, incorrect quantities were supplied. The initial beam delivery came complete with mold, mildew, mushrooms and an insect infestation, including large wood worms. The material was delivered by this company even though its own employee said it needed to be kiln dried prior to delivery, because he knew there were insects present. He was told to make the delivery anyway. For the material that was actually kiln dried, two beams were so warped they couldn't be used and we were forced to obtain material from another vendor. The flooring delivery was delayed by months, which threw our entire construction schedule off. Five of the stair treads were the wrong width, forcing us to construct a closed stair stringer to hide that fact. The newel posts delivered were so fractured they were unusable and we had to get material from another supplier. In short, do not believe the sales job these people pitch to you on the front end, because your project will suffer from delays and second rate material on the back end. Steer well clear of them.
