We worked with Joe on a design and build project to add a master bedroom suite to the second floor of our home. Joe was fantastic! From the very beginning, Joe was professional, prompt and responsive. We were under some time constraints with the design, as my husband travelled quite extensively and we wanted to complete it by end of January. Joe made this happen. We really enjoyed the creative process and the collaboration was really great! Joe had introduced ideas that we hadn't even thought about and had great suggestions - he understood and appreciated our contemporary/modern style. We were also able to view our new design via virtual glasses which gave us a much better sense of space and layout! This allowed us to make much better decisions. Overall we had a lot fun, enjoyed our design experience and the final layout/floor plan was just perfect for our space. Thank you Joe!

Joe promptly returned my call on a request through Houzz to hire a kitchen designer for our condo. The first time on the phone, I did not know what to expect as someone that had never initiated a re-model of any kind before. I had TONS of questions which he patiently answered and gave me a clear picture of how the process would work. We really hit it off and his no-nonsense, humorous-yet-professional demeanor was exactly what I needed. He did the most important thing which was really listen to how we live, our style, our budget, and our "must haves". Joe uses 3D rendering software to build out a model of what you will ultimately get in the kitchen and then spends time working with you to mold it, tweak it, and personalize it. As he says, "he checks his ego at the door", so I never felt uncomfortable making a suggestion or asking to move, try, or rearrange things. Like many others, we are challenged by a small kitchen and some interesting door/window placements, but I think that's where the creative problem solving shines! He showed us how to be clever with the space and turn certain annoyances in the kitchen into design features. The final result is an exact drawing to use with the contractor. As an added bonus, Joe was able to play matchmaker with a contractor that worked perfectly with what we were trying to do. This can be an intimidating process from start to finish but he showed us that it doesn't have to be... it can be enjoyable when you have help from people who know what they're doing and are truly passionate about the design process. We are very thankful to have found him!

Joe Did an amazing job helping us to visualize what we wanted and what we could really achieve. He meticulously applied his architectural creativity to the site, structural and economic limitations we faced. We were overwhelmed and confused until Joe brought the 3 dimensional/real time presentation to our home and allowed us to make adjustments to the plans while Joe showed us what the results would look like immediately. As we basically built a new house around our old house Joe was responsive to the changes we needed and provided adjustments quickly avoiding additional costs and delays from the sub contractors. The results of the plan far exceeded our expectations.

Joe from Design Solutions designed a beatuifu addition to my home. Not only did I get a gorgeous interior...but an equally lovely exterior design...you would never know that the addtion wasn't always there. He even sited the windows in my new kitchen to take advantage of the exisiting landscaping and trees...the view is perfect...in every season. The best thing about working with Joe is that he listens. He took the time to make sure that he incorporated everything I wanted in the design. He even went the extra mile to measure and re-measure certain pieces of furniture that I wanted to use in the space. Now I have an exceptional kitchen along with three lovely new bathrooms. I love the space...it works perfectly for my family.

We live in a turn of the century colonial which Joe has expertly helped us transform into the home of our dreams. Our 120 year old home had its fair share of design challenges which we were able to overcome through the 3-D design vision created by Joe and his team. It was a true collaboration in every sense of the word. From our initial meetings to discuss our "dreams", to deciding on a plan, to choosing the finishing touches, Joe listened, gave his opinions and together we made those dreams a reality. As a homeowner taking on their first remodeling project, my already high expectations from DSI's initial design consultation were far exceeded as we moved through the design and build process. As a result of our wonderful first experience, we have selected Design Solutions Inc. to design our master bathroom/ bedroom suite project which will begin construction in the spring. We cannot wait to begin!

Joe designed a compete renovation of our 1854 New England home. It looks wonderful and I feel like we have given this old lady of a house a new lease on life. Joe was very understanding of the history of this old gem and had a good feeling for where we needed to make it modern and where we needed to keep it authentic. Joe was extremely easy to work with and cared that the project came out right. We were also on a very tight time frame and he kept us on schedule.
