I have 25 years experience and offer an architectural design and drafting service including all Council approvals. I commenced my own business in 2012. I can make the design and building experience a fun and rewarding one for you! I specialise in new homes, unit developments and house extensions. Obligation free visit in your own home to discuss your project. Free building cost estimates. Plans for council approvals and Tender. I specialise in tailor-made designs to suit your requirements and building budget. I can advise on suitable builders for you to tender out your project. I normally charge a very competitive fixed fee (based on hourly rates). I am very hands on and do all the design and drafting myself. Payment is easy via direct deposit after each stage of the project. I am pretty flexible with my time and available for after hours appointments. I would highly recommend JLN Designs. I've contacted James in regards to my new kitchen and he responded in a very prompt, professional manner with a very competitive quote. James has years of experience and has offered me many creative ideas in regards to my kitchen upgrade. He is a mature, friendly communicator with meticulous attention to detail. Literally, within days I had my drawings and I am now talking to a cabinet maker to create my functional, modern kitchen James has designed for me.

James was very professional, punctual, informative and helpful. He removed a lot of stress and complication by dealing with council for approvals throughout the design phase of our extension. We knew mostly what we wanted to do but James was able to provide some valuable insights and ideas for us. His quote as an architect was very competitive among other quotes we received from draftsmen. The builder we engaged for our project commented that our plans were some of the best he had seen for an extension - which sounds like a pretty good compliment to me. We would recommend James to anyone looking for an architect.
