Then they coordinate with the contractor and meet with all the subs to make sure the project is going to be executed correctly. They follow up along the way and this all contributes to a project being done right and on time. Because you have them the contractors are also held to being on task from someone other then the homeowners which is incredibly valuable. They advocate for you to make sure things are running smoothly and done right. Such peace of mind. Equally valuable was their help in product selection. There is so much to choose from it can be overwhelming and Jessica and Vicki go with you to vendors and help you. This was huge for us. We would have spent days deciding on a floor and countless trips back and forth but instead we did it in a couple hours and were 100% confident in our selection. I can’t imagine doing any remodel project without them. We will hire them again for any future projects. They can transform your home to a home you will love.

This is the second time I used JLC for a project and based off my first two experiences I will ALWAYS work with them on any house project moving forward. I think it’s hard for people to wrap their head around paying for designers on top of the actual work being done, but it’s worth every penny. Every tiny detail is thought of and their expertise made my whole house look put together and cohesive, even though we mainly focused on the basement this round. They were also there for every meeting with the general contractor and also for all the trades (tile, electrical, painting, etc). It took SO MUCH stress off of me. At the start of this project Jessica and Vicki came out to my house and listened to everything I wanted to change and then came back with a plan on how to accomplish it all + some things I hadn’t even thought of. They brought in an amazing contractor to do all the work. They also helped with all of the selections for the bathroom and dry bar (taking into account the budget I had set), took care of ordering everything that was needed for the remodel, sent back anything that wasn’t needed and coordinated delivery of everything else. I can’t express how much I loved working with these 2. Great company, great taste & great people.

Our 1978 home in Eden Prairie was in desperate need of a double bathroom remodel on our upper level (hallway and primary baths). The floors and most of the fixtures were original to the home and we knew there were some scary things going on behind walls and under the floor. As a busy working mom, I didn’t need to run all over the Twin Cities, looking at options! I simply accepted or rejected options from my computer! After the construction process started, they were on-site to check the status at specific milestones and were always available for questions and to go to bat for us with the contractor as needed (although the contractor they found for us was amazing too!). WOW! We never imagined our kitchen and breezeway could had been renovated to match what you see on a television remodel show. The end result is astonishing. When we contacted Jess, our main goal was to optimize our small kitchen/dining room. Goal Accomplished! JLC listened to what our wants/needs were and designed a kitchen, dining room and 3 season porch for the magazines. They came up with options we never would have ourselves. The process from start to finish was seamless. JLC working directly with the contractor allowed us to be more at ease during the construction phase. When our next project arises, we will be in touch with Jess and Vicki!

JLC worked with us to create a great kitchen design, guided us through the fixture and material selection process and supported the project through demolition, construction and final finishing touches. Their greatest value was helping us navigate the complex details involved with a kitchen remodel. We are very happy with the final result. Our kitchen turned out better than we imagined.

I worked with Jessica and Vicki to remodel a bathroom, add a new bathroom & remodel our bedroom. First off, I could NOT be happpier about the process and the finished product. I am a few months past the end of construction and I can say with full honestly I would not change one thing. They helped me with all of the design choices, figured out how to add a bathroom into our original space, kept me on the correct timeline, worked with all of the tradesfolk to ensure things were done how I wanted them (e.g. how I wanted the tile laid, placement of cabinet pulls, sconce location, etc.). They also really helped me figure out the style I wanted and pushed me use the colors I really wanted to but was a bit nervous to try. They made the process seamless, the end project beautiful and took all of the stress off me. I would NEVER tackle a home project without them.

Jessica provided interior design services at my home which included choosing furniture, wall colors (paint and wallpaper), rugs and a bathroom re-model. In total she led the way with with redesigning 9 different rooms. And the results are beautiful! She took the time to understand my preferences and the direction I wanted to go with the house - and the amount of help I wanted from her. With those parameters she drove the process in a very professional and efficient manner. She made multiple trips to my house and we made multiple shopping trips together. Her manner of working was quick, but not hurried, and to the point. She had a job to do and she was focused on it. At times she was encouraging (like when I was nervous about choosing a bold color for a room) and at others she made a strong recommendation. She was the exact perfect amount of flexible. When we went shopping for furniture she was a force to be reckoned with... she knew exactly where to go within the stores and had an uncanny memory of what I told her I liked and didn't like. I'd be lost and dizzy in a store and she knew it like the back of her hand. The store employees could tell from the way she carries herself that she's a pro and knows what she wants. They gave her instant respect and even provided a discount that paid for much of her services. I felt she was generous with her time and invoicing - by combining trips for multiple customers for example. I even felt that she snuck in a little extra work for me without charging me. :) I am so happy with the results of the colors on my walls, the furniture we chose and the rugs we laid down. Jessica was an instrumental part of making my house such a clear reflection of who I am.

Jessica is verCaroy easy to work with and had numerous suggestions for our home. I like the way she does her business in that you can use her as much or as little as you want and I also like that you are not limited to just one source for furniture and accessories.

Jessica is AWESOME! She jumped in and took over our kitchen remodel project that was started but not going well at the time. She came to us as a referral. We knew the minute we met her that she was perfect for turning our project into what we were hoping for all along. She is honest, flexible, has great ideas, and has great technical skills. She worked with us through the design phase, offered suggestions through the demo/build phase, and then helped us pick out the furniture when it was all done. I needed some professional input on how to maximize use of a small entry/closet area between my garage and kitchen. Jessica listened to my list of issues with how the space was currently used and came up with some amazing ideas to overhaul and make the most of a tiny space. I will definitely call again when ready to overhaul other areas of my house.

We used Jessica to help us coordinate new paint colors after living with the old colors for over a decade. We didn't want to make many changes in our furnishings, however, it was time to paint and update the old color scheme. She presented color options we had never thought of and we totally love the change. The new colors actually look much better even though and we had thought we liked what we previously had. We had a great experience with Jessica and appreciated her expertise and professionalism. I wish we would have known to use her when we built our house. We didn't realize an interior decorator was so reasonable to use and would definitely hire her again for any future updates or changes we make in our house.

Jessica was creative, flexible and responsive. We have a kitchen remodel project. We brainstormed various ideas for a couple of weeks and felt pretty good about the project. Then we met with Jessica. She gave us a 'first impression' of our current kitchen and suggestions for changes. She was focused on functionality and always looked for our feedback if the ideas sounded reasonable or not. We have choosen to go with many of her suggestions and are ever more excited about getting this project completed. Jessica helped with vendors etc and was very responsive to emails and phone calls. I would definitely recommend her services.

My project was small - painting a number of rooms. In a bedroom, it was particularly important to have a color that pulled together a number of separate pieces of heirloom furniture. I also wanted a "color" not a a neutral but nothing that would keep a guest up at night. I was skeptical of the color Jessica selected, right up until the furniture was in and the accessories were in place. Jessica chose the perfect color. Jessica had listened to what I expressed during our consultation and used her expertise to create the exact mood I had hoped for.

We recently completed a kitchen remodel in our 1980’s split style home. Iron River shared details during our initial meeting on how having Jessica engaged during the project might be an option. We determined this wasn’t an option, this was a must do! Her time was one of the best investments we made! There were many tough decisions that would have been so much harder without her by our side. For anyone that is new to the process, she is able to listen to your ideas and translate them into something the team can actually execute on! It was great to have her on site throughout the process, as she was able to guide the team to alter design plans, as issues came up during construction. She is patient, easy to work with and a talented individual! We still walk into our kitchen and are amazed by the transformation! We enjoy cooking and hanging out and are no longer tripping over each other. Of course we’re happy with all of our new granite, tile, cabinets, etc. However, the key was the new flow. While we didn’t change the footprint of the kitchen, moving key appliances around and changing the space where the “traffic” areas are made a huge difference. During the remodel we knew it was a good decision, now that we’re actually using the kitchen, we know it was the RIGHT decision. Jessica was key to many of these design decisions that made all of the difference – we appreciated all of her ideas and ability to brainstorm with us. She was able to transform our vision into something we will be happy with for years to come!

Jessica did a fabulous job helping to redesign and remodel our master bathroom. While it is a small space, she helped to make it appear larger by suggesting the moving of a shower wall, and by the design and placement of the ceramic tile on the walls and the floor. We wanted our new our new bathroom to have a feeling of calm and peacefulness, and she definitely helped us achieve this! From the fixtures, to the lighting, to the cabinetry, to the colors, everything coordinated beautifully. We would not hesitate to hire Jessica for our next interior design/remodeling project.
