We hired Jeff and his crew to perform an extensive remodel of our house in Albany, CA. We added a small addition, and entirely renovated the kitchen, three bathrooms, and several other rooms in the house. We were new to the renovation process and were nervous based on the stories we had heard about others' renovation projects. We considered several other contractors but chose Jeff as having the best combination of quality, reliability, communication, and price. We couldn't have been happier with our decision. The project was completed within budget and on time, which apparently is almost unheard of. In addition, the quality of the work was fantastic. Working with Jeff was very easy. When issues arose, which of course they always do, Jeff was completely reasonable and was focused on finding a solution (instead of finding someone to blame). He went above and beyond what we expected (for example, he fixed a few other things he found along the way, even though they weren't part of the plans). His pricing on change orders (initiated by us) was also very reasonable. His team was very respectful and kept the site clean and organized. Overall, we were surprised how much fun the whole process turned out to be and there is no doubt in our minds that Jeff and his team deserve a lot of the credit. Probably the best evidence that we were happy with Jeff is that we have hired him again for a second project, and are thrilled with how that is progressing as well.

I worked with Jeff and he is a first rate contractor in terms of his costs, the quality of his work and his communication. We believe that his costs are commensurate with the level of service he provides. On a personal note, I trust him implicitly. We would feel comfortable leaving Jeff with a set of drawings to complete a project if we were to go away on vacation.

Jeff and his team remodeled two bathrooms in my home as well as creating new closets in our attic area. He was professional and easy to get a hold of and he was easy to work with. He cares about his client and wants to make sure the job is done well.

Jeff Bickel is a talented, conscientious and professional contractor. Being sensitive to his clients' budget, he explains the pro and cons of different options. He does excellent work and he finds solutions to unexpected problems. The rapport with his workers is very good.
