I have worked with Julaine on various projects throughout my house. We moved into a very outdated home and Julaine has helped me transform the home into a beautiful space! Each project we have worked on together has turned out better than I ever expected! Her design vision and attention to detail is incredible! Julaine has helped me pick out paint colors, furniture, wallpaper, art, lighting, custom window treatments, flooring, accessories as well as complete remodels of my kitchen, master bath, 3 secondary bathrooms and laundry room. For each remodel Julaine was the general contractor and took care of all schedules and worked with the subs. The kitchen remodel was on a tight schedule because I wanted it done in time to host Thanksgiving, and Julaine delivered even earlier than expected! She expects exceptional quality work from her subs and was in constant contact with me in regards to scheduling and progress. I have really enjoyed working with Julaine and will continue to call on her for any future work!

Julaine helped design the nursery for my first baby - a boy! His name is Suede, and I was set on doing a music theme but didn't know quite how to execute it. Nothing I could find on Pinterest quite captured the vision I had in mind. Julaine helped me bring my vision to life - from the custom drapery with music note trim to the faux "suede" accent wall behind his crib. No detail was forgotten in this room, and it is so special to our family! She commissioned a piece of custom art to hang over his crib, alluding to Suede being one of the "World's Greatest," alongside musicians like Johnny Cash, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Kenny Chesney, The Beatles, and Elvis Presley with his namesake song "Blue Suede Shoes." I highly recommend entrusting Julaine with bringing your vision for your home to life - she is so talented and easy to work with!

Julaine transformed my house to a home! We just moved into this house and knew we needed someone to help use decorate it. I know what I like , but I am terrible with putting everything together. She was highly recommended from the neighborhood. She helped pick out paint color throughout the house, as well as help with decorating and furnishing it. She helped decorate the kitchen, family room, foyer and hallways, guest room and bath, and the master room and bathroom. She was very professional. She stayed within our budget and didn't waste a lot of time designing each room. I feel like we got the most bang for our buck. She really listened to my style but also helped me moved into a current look without it feeling like its not my home.

Working with Julaine was a great pleasure. Our bathroom is my favorite room in my house! She was very professional and stayed on top of every step of the remodel. I always knew who was coming and exactly what had been done on that particular day. She knew we were on a budget and always kept that in mind when we made certain design decisions. My bathroom is beautiful thanks to her expertise in decorating and design.

Julaine has been so wonderful to work with on our main level update & renovation. She has great vision, ideas, style and is always so flexible as we worked together on selecting wall & floor colors, fabrics, furnishings, window treatments, etc. She also was the general contractor for our project, orchestrating the project thru the various stages & assuring our complete satisfaction every step of the way. Without a doubt, she made what could have been a very disruptive experience fun, relaxing & is always focused on 100% quality. I highly recommend Julaine for any project (big or small) you may have. I've used J Jarrett Designs for multiple renovations in my home over the past five years. When my father and brother needed some help with decorating their new town-home, I knew who to call. We loved everything that was recommended from the transitional furniture to the perfect paint colors. Great communication and attention to detail. I initially hired Julaine to help pick out some paint colors for some interior rooms in our house. I loved her approach and color selection so much that over the years she has done 4 rooms of custom window treatments, helped recover sofas and chairs, helped me select furniture and accessories in all of the main rooms in my house, remodeled our kitchen with tile backsplash, granite countertops and some amazing custom cabinetry, added some custom bookcases in our great room and the list goes on. She is professional, always on time and on budget, completely reliable, takes full responsibility for her subs, and an overall great person. I can't recommend her enough. I am in the process of selling my home now and I look forward to starting the process with her again in my new home!

We worked with Julaine to remodel our 15 year old master bathroom. The tile had been replaced a few years before, but the original wallpaper, vanities and other fixtures remained. Julaine asked about our needs and the style we'd like to have and created a great design to meet those. She also acted as the project manager and general contractor bringing in her many excellent contractors to work on the job. Working with the existing tile posed challenges, but Julaine offered creative solutions to make the whole room work. She is very attentive to detail and will have paint touched up, granite repolished or frames redone to meet her high standards!

Julaine is a very talented designer, yet practical. She listens to what the client wants and designs accordingly. If you need ideas, she has tons. We used her services on two different occasions and continue years later to be pleased with the outcome. Sometimes I wanted to be highly involved and choose materials, other times I left it up to her discretion. Julaine was highly flexible in both situations. She chooses highly qualified contractors and oversees all aspects of the project. You will not be disappointed.

We have used J Jarrett Designs consult with us from choosing paint colors in our great room and Master BR, to demoing a kitchen island and designing a new one to replace the old. She has also assisted us with choosing paint colors of glazing to create a faux finish of built-in bookshelves in our great room and our Master bath. Finally, she helped me choose and shopped for fabrics to have our bedding custom made. In all of the above, I have noted Julaine to be very detail oriented, she has recognized my personal taste preferences and incorporated this into her suggestions, been open to my ideas and questions and is timely in her responses. A bonus is her serving as the 'manager' if you will of all the laborers who have worked on our upgrades. Of note, her style leans toward 'high end' or higher quality products, which will cost more than other options.

It is a pleasure to work with J Jarrett designs. Mrs. Jarrett was mindful of my budget and shared many ideas to save money while achieving a quality outcome. She was talented at knowing & informing me of all options available and was up front about estimates/costs of every part of the job. She holds all contractors accountable and insists on top quality work from them. It was nice that I didn't have to keep such a close eye on the contractors because I knew Mrs. Jarrett was. Our job (bathroom remodel) was completed ontime and within budget. We are quite pleased with the outcome!

JJD has done a full bathroom from ground up. She is extremely open to your ideas and she is full of new and exciting ideas for projects. Julaine also handles and schedules very well. I would absolutely hire JJD for my next big project.
