Jimmyz Pool & Spa

Unlike 90% of the pool contractors in Santa Clarita, CA, Jim Benton is still in business; that's "still in business" for 30 years! And the other anomaly: every person who knows him, likes him! And what shouldn't be too surprising is that he treats his employees like the artists that they are: with respect. His prices are a little high, but the quality of the work is priceless. There's not an area of construction that he doesn't know. He refurbished our 15 year old pool, repairing areas that worried us (which were found to be serious construction defects) and replacing the disintegrating sand stone which our initial pool builder told us we would love. Well, we didn't love it and as it crumbled over the years, it destroyed the filters and taught us to never trust people in construction, again. Well, Jimmy changed all that. He does what you hope for in hiring an expert. He and his workers are there, when they say they will be there, always on time. They follow through with what they say they will do, seeking the homeowner's approval, which was something we had never experienced before. We trust Jimmy and won't make any construction opinions without consulting with him. So, now we have total confidence in someone who really listens and understands what we're trying to accomplish, but the best part of all, we have a terrific friend in him, too.
