I have worked with Benchmark Stoneworks for years. They are the BEST tile installers in San Diego. They are professional, prompt, courteous and amazing artisans. They are knowledgable about installing very detailed high end tile as well as simple, easy installations. I highly recommend them!

Hawkins Contracting Inc.

I tried to hire Benchmark Stoneworks to do a small backsplash tile installation in my kitchen. Unfortunately, this contractor has been impossible to work with. The installation was scheduled to be completed at the end of April but due to a tile back order, the project was delayed till early May. Its now June and the contractor has not been able to do the installation. There has been only excuses. I strongly suggest you keep looking for a quality tile installation contractor.

We were hired by Bruce to install a kitchen back splash at his residence. We had been on schedule and showed up as scheduled at the agreed upon time. Tile was ordered by him personally and was supposed to be onsite prior to that morning for us to install. We waited at the house with our employees on the clock for Bruce to run down to pick up the tile. Turns out the tile had not arrived at the supplied. Our schedule is normally very full and we do the best we can to adjust for unexpected changes. In this case however by the time the tile actually got to the supplied we weren't able to to get back quickly because of adhering to our full schedule with other clients. Were sorry that any customer had a bad experience with us. We strive for excellence in our workmanship as well as our customer service.
