Was referred to Jeff from a builder. Although I was very optimistic and relayed the energy to Jeff, he did not treat us kindly as a customer would expect. We had placed a deposit in the amount of $4000 for a ranch remodel (03/07/2020). Jeff went out, measured and drew out the existing floor plans. On 03/21/2020 Jeff presented to us his proposed layout and we provided requested revisions. Jeff presented to us an update on 03/30/2020. Where things turned south, was when I had dialogue with Jeff on the phone to fine tune our requests. When I asked him about a certain wall and a preference we had, he was basically rude and condescending. Throughout the process we were encouraging but it was at this point we felt uncomfortable and decided to part ways. I had requested a fair refund as total contract was $8,000, $4,000 of which was paid as a deposit. We barely made it through Part 2 of design development and expected a partial refund of deposit. Jeff allowed us to part ways but refused to partially refund us. I'm sure disagreements happen all the time and vendors are ultimately not a good fit. But I cannot recommend Jeff. We hired him to help us remodel our home which is an emotional project. Instead we gave up $4,000 for someone to belittle us to how he thought our home should look like.

I've worked on several large projects as a builder with Blackbird Arch. Their plans are always spot on, design consultation and advice is excellent, and their customer service from both a quality and timeframe standpoint are second to none.
