We are very satisfied with the work by Homeward Bound. The owner is honest, reliable, organized and trustworthy. We agree on projects over long distance and we are always very happy with the end result. Some of the projects completed are building a new garage/workshop, radon remedial work, house siding with wood trim & windows replacement, basement reno with bunk bed builtins.

Jason was fantastic to work with. We had a huge project of completely gutting and renovating a space for a Spa and Float center. Turned out beautiful we are really happy with the results!

Homeward Bound Carpentry has provided remodeling services for my vacation home in Kimberley. I recently completed a renovation project with Jason, in which I provided the design for the project and he beautifully executed the plan. He is a professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable contractor, with great problem solving skills. He is very easy to work with and always made himself available to answer any questions or solve any problems. Hi, I have NO HESITATION in recommending Jason to whatever you would like done. I wish I could post pictures here, as you could see what a GREAT job Jason did in my Fernie Condo's Kitchen (and Trim). I chose Jason as he did a complete home renovation on my friends' house in Kimberley, and based on the outstanding results (without the huge tab), and the efficiency at which my friends saw him work, it was a no brainer to hire him immediately. I couldn't be happier. His sophisticated sense of style resulted in a FAR SUPERIOR result than I could have gotten elsewhere. I think this is because I got him involved him in the design process. It's for this reason that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get his valuable input (and sense of style) in the design of whatever you want to achieve as you're designing what you'd like done. We have worked with Jason on a staircase/loft renovation and a complete kitchen overhaul. Jason does quality work for a fair price. He brings good ideas to the project and offers realistic problem solving to the issues that arise.

Homeward Bound was excellent to work with and I would recommend to anyone looking to remodel their home. Jason is open minded and a skilled solution oriented which is key when you are trying to meet a budget or do something creative. The most important point was that projects were completed on budget, or if a problem was identified and scope needed to increase or be changed, they discussed additional costs BEFORE they did the work...i.e. no extra billing after the fact. The work quality is great and value excellent. They clean up at the end of each day and are a pleasure to be around, which is an important (and often missed point) when doing a large renovation that could take many months to a year of daily interactions.
