Husband and wife team, Mark and Daina Carter are the creative minds and owners behind the company. In the summer of 2005, Mark and Daina were preparing their home for sale. They decided to stage their own property and the results paid off. Their real estate agent suggested that this talented team should further explore home staging and the idea soon became a reality. Six short months later, Design Perfect Home Staging was born. To kick off their new business, Mark and Daina purchased 4 sofas and a few other furniture pieces at an auction. They initially invested in an 8×10 storage unit to fill with accessories and decor. With fingers crossed, the couple was hopeful their new business venture would blossom. Within a few months, the business grew and Design Perfect doubled their space and moved into a 1500 square feet storage area. It was a big jump for Mark and Daina but the extra space was needed to expand their growing inventory. The company has continued to grow and Design Perfect now occupies a 5,000 square foot warehouse—enough furnishings to stage 30-40 homes. They are one of the premier staging companies in the greater Seattle region. This husband and wife team have created a strong community reputation for providing homeowners with expert staging services.
