Irena was fantastic to work with and extremely helpful and efficient! Her showroom is packed with everything you would need to get a quality design started and decisions made without the need for trekking all over town for bits and pieces. Loved working with her and we will be doing more work with her again soon for our kitchen and guest bathroom.

If I could give this company a zero I would. We had our small bathroom redone July '18 and was not completed till September. Final inspection wasn't done until the winter. We should of fired them and hired someone else. At least we learned to be more vigilant in hiring contractors. Not only did they provide poor workmanship but the length of time it took for everything. Some of the issues we encountered were we had two leaks during construction (water gushing out of our ceiling into the kitchen), they had to regrout the floor and tiles bc it was so sloppy and there was an embedded nail we found. We are still paying the price for hiring this company. Less than 2 yrs and we need to regrout our shower/bath area of the tub bc first they cut the tile along the perimeter of the tub and not at the ceiling (there should be full tile around the tube and cut tile along the ceiling) and how they framed caused a weak spot causing the crack around the whole tub. We were told that was normal which is not the case. They also did not tile to the wall along the floor so the wall tiles are floating and not sitting along the floor causing more cracking. I would never let this company do any work in my house again or ever recommend them to even to my worst enemy.

I am happy to provide this review for our master bathroom renovation. Starting with Irena who was very knowledgeable about the products and design services she provided, and a pleasure to work with. The showroom was very impressive, great selection of high end manufacturers. We bonded immediately and were able to get the design concept together quickly. Product selection was vast, with high end materials. Then Odie came to the house to survey the project and once again we felt comfortable with him immediately. Very knowledgeable with construction. Once construction began Odie and his team stayed on schedule. Work was first class and professional. They were very careful when moving thru the house since the reno was on the second floor. They provided good protection of existing spaces and cleaned up every day when there work day finished. Louie, amazing tile work! Odie is a very talented electrician. Happy to say no surprises, Odie had everything covered in the original contract. Definitely would recommend Design & Remodeling to anyone thinking about a bathroom renovation.

We are beyond THRILLED, ELATED, GRATEFUL, AND OVER-THE-MOON about the work that they did for us and our home. It’s AMAZING. We did a 3-story addition on the back of our Tudor home (originally built in 1929). We met with 7 contractors and we were so happy to have picked Odie and Design & Remodeling Specialists. Odie made every element of our project so much better. He made it look better than we ever thought was possible. It was a big job with redoing 3 bathrooms, a full gut job on the kitchen and a complete demolition of our basement. Given that it was an old house, we ran into some unforeseen issues with cracked sewer pipes and termite eaten structural beams. I'm so very happy that Odie was helping us and made it all work at a reasonable price. We also did a whole new deck, stone patio, spiral staircase and custom bookshelves. Irena was phenomenal with her direction and advice about bathrooms and our kitchen. She has a wonderful design aesthetic and she got a sense of what we liked and had wonderful options for us. We are so very happy with how everything turned out and looks. Project started in May/June 2017 and lasted about 10 months. Given the three-story addition onto the back of an old house, there were some structural elements that required care and time (i.e. steel structural beams). Odie handled everything so expertly. He managed my expectations and was a wonderful partner with the entire project. I have the highest praise possible for Odie and Irena. Besides being absolutely delightful, lovely people, they are fantastic experts and professionals. Thank you so very much Odie & Irena and Design & Remodeling Specialists. We are sooooo appreciative of your work. Working with you was a dream come true!!!!

I was impressed by both Odie and Irena's knowledge of product lines as well as installation requirements. They were consistently responsive to communications and followed up with detailed explanations if requested. The work was completed within budget and estimated timelines with high quality results. Each day had specific goals with any design details worked out beforehand. The onsite team was clean, respectful and a pleasure to work with as well.

Odie and his team did a great job on remodeling my kitchen. They were neat, respectful and communication was constant. We will be hiring them to do our bathroom in the future

They never got a building permit, and said we agreed, but we never agreed! Also, they use low quality materials, and do not stand behind their work. They lied to us and expected us to believe them. Do not, repeat, do not, recommend them. Saw Odie in Home Depot buying materials, then he says he buys the best quality materials. We do not think they are honest.

I only have good things to say about my experience with Design and remodeling specialist. I highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in remodeling their home. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Irena helped tremendously with the design of my bathroom. The quality and the work was top of the line. Every aspect of the project was transparent , no hidden surprises. We were able to stay within our budget and the job was completed within a timely manner. I was very lucky that I hired them to do the job. I love my new bathroom!

Based on Houzz.com reviews, we decided to hire this company for our master bathroom renovation project. We are very glad we did. Odie, Irena, George, and the construction workers were all very professional, reliable and paid attention to details. Any issues which came up during the construction were addressed immediately. Their job were first rate and we highly recommend this company to our fellow houzz.com readers who are thinking of future home improvement projects.

This company did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel. They helped with the design choices, material purchasing and then all the contractor services. They stayed on budget and time. Would highly recommend.

Complete kitchen renovation was done on time with attention to detail. Real concern for creating quality work. Final product is amazing.
