With the help and guidance of Interior Motives we redecorated our great room and Master bed and bath. The ideas presented;, for color, furniture layout and artwork were not something we would have thought of ourselves. But, they were perfect for the space, the traffic flow, comfort and our lifestyle. We have a room that we enjoy entertaining in, relaxing in and looking at. In the Master bedroom I explained that I wanted something different. I wanted to keep my furniture, two nite stands and two amoires, but make it more modern. The color palate and fabrics were beautiful. Silver, teal and cranberry, my favorite colors, in great fabrics for the bolster, cornice boxes and bedding. We changed the hardware on the furniture, covered a new headboard, painted the walls a metallic silver, the ajoining bathroom was painted teal to match the headboard. A new bed cover, shams and custom bolsters completed the look. We found Interior Motives to be wonderful to work with, they listened to our desires, came up with wonderful ideas, found furniture, artwork, and decor items for the pot shelves and stayed within budget.

We purchased a custom home in the Anthem Country Club section of Henderson. This was a large home that had never been lived in, and was twice as big as our two existing places combined. Most of our old stuff was not right for the new home anyway. Alice provided interior and exterior (although not gardening/landscaping) planning and design, including converting two bedrooms into offices and the selection (and supervision of delivery and installation) of everything for the interior, including furniture, built-ins, rugs and other floor coverings and finishes, plants (real and artificial), paintings and other art, and artifacts and other finishing touches. Alice worked with us in establishing a budjet and has done a good job of staying within the budjet while delivering high quality. She will get great quality improvements for a little more money, but will resist spending a lot for incremental improvements. She is also good a putting more into the most used and the most visable parts of the house. She has local resourses (furniture, art, rugs, built-ins, etc.) with generally excellent quality, fast delivery and followup service when needed. Also, her own service and follow through are excellent and her fees are reasonable. Throughout the process Alice accomodated our tastes and preferences while keeping us from mistakes. Her own tastes and ideas were excellent. She is the best designer/decorater we have ever used.

I have worked with Alice Roussos for many years on several projects, the first being our 8000 sq ft home in 1998. She is a professional in every sense of the word and an absolute pleasure to work with. She brings fresh ideas, lots of samples, and is not afraid to take several runs at a concept until you are completely satisfied. In 2010 she worked with me to completed a family owned tavern that has received rave reviews, and again I counted on her to help design and furnish a contemporary commercial real estate office in 2012. Alice is very professional and easy lo like. She is fun to be around, works immediately and focused on the project at hand. She handled a large wood floor installation, tile, custom painted columns, and carpet. She pointed out excellent workmen to work with us on custom cabinetry and other custom finishes. Interior Motives furnished and decorated parts of my new house and has done a great job. She has been creative while remaining practical and sensitive to my preferences. I was able to keep a few pieces of furniture and art works that I liked and she helped me add what was missing and coordinated well with existing pieces. She is cost conscincious and gave me several options at different cost levels to help me stay within the budget.
