Never before have we worked with a designer who was able to work so symbiotically with the construction team, at times even assisting with expediting the construction process. Paul Schatz and the entire team at Interior Design Imports were amazing to work with. Paul has an incredible eye for design and sense of style, but also was able to quickly ascertain our personal taste and marry the two. Paul helped us with everything from paint colors to tile selection, to fixtures, finishes and furniture. He accessed some items for us directly at a price we would not have been able to find on our own. Paul worked seamlessly with our architect and contractor and met us in person several times to make sure we were all on board with selection of materials, keeping us on track and on schedule. Paul and his team are a true class act and provide the type of personalized, hands-on service that is a rarity these days. We appreciate so much all of their help and attention to detail and couldn't be happier with the finished product! It has been six years since we completed our home restoration/remodel project and we get compliments on Paul's work every time a new friend or family member enters our home, to this day! I highly recommend Paul Schatz and Interior Design Imports!

Paul Schatz, of Interior Design Imports, and his team create beautiful homes. His attention to detail, creativity, and ability to listen to his clients creates an atmosphere of trust and a finished product that everyone loves. Paul designed the interior of our Spanish style home and exterior spaces, patios, fireplaces etc. We were featured in San Diego Home and Gardens magazine and have been on home tours. Our home is not only beautiful but feels warm and authentic in character. Throughout the building process Paul guided us in the selection of tiles, lights, flooring to furniture and rugs. He looks at every single detail that no one would ever think makes a difference. The final product is perfect. He does it all! We had four very young children and the home needed to be comfortable and usable for an active family. We have never not been amazed at how the home has weathered so well in beauty and durability. We still maintain contact with Paul for other projects that we do in the home and other places because we trust his advice and expertise. You will not regret using him for any project.

He was able to create interior spaces that lived up to all my expectations and were respectful of my budget. Paul has a wonderful sense of color, design and proportion. Paul's vision is extra ordinary. Not only he has a great eye for design, he is exceptional in finding solution to challenges that come up in a remodel. We've been in this house for 8 years. His design and tile work is ageless, beautiful workmanship creating a comfortable and beautiful space to live in. He is well connected to all the best fabricators and providers and he brings his years to knowledge that saved us from making costly design mistakes. My husband was very hesitant to use a designer and now he wouldn't consider working with anyone else or changing anything without getting Paul's feedback. Thank you Paul to your and your staff. We are so thankful for having found you.

Paul Schatz and his team were and continue to be great. We used IDI 10 years ago to remodel our home and they really took the time to understand what our family needed and helped us express ourselves in our home.
