David and his team were wonderful to work with. We had followed their Instagram profile for awhile and really liked their modern, clean design aesthetic and quality craftmanship that they bring to their projects. They designed and built a new tile patio and hot tub pergola for us over the summer (2022) which truly transformed our backyard - it's beautiful! We will definitely work with them again when we redo our front yard and further additions to our backyard. David's planning process (including 3D models) and his team's attention to detail throughout the construction phase made it a worthwhile investment.

David and his crew renovated my landscaping and built a patio. They did an excellent job and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing landscape work. David was great to work with, provided a fair quote and stuck to it, showed up as agreed, found a cost effective and interesting solution to my needs, and cleaned up after the work was done. The end product looks great. What more could you ask for??

Working with David and his team (Inside Out Design & Build) was a pleasure. David is responsive to client's needs. His design is spot on, including the wonderful computer renderings. His crew are pleasant, polite and fun to work with. The quality of their work is outstanding. We have received so many compliments... Dave built a platform around our hot tub and a side gate. From start to finish it was a really great job and easy for me. We went away and left Dave to it and came back to perfection.

I highly recommend David Anderson of Inside Out - Design & Build. He installed paving stones including all preparatory work such as drainage to create a lovely new sidewalk and front patio for us that has significantly enhanced the outside of our home and our front yard. He delivered on time and on budget. He also delivered extras that we requested and recommended things we hadn't thought of that increased value of the work. He is always a pleasure to deal with. In short, he provides excellent value and is a true professional.

We have just had David from Inside Out replace our old concrete patio with a beautiful hardwood deck and we couldn’t be happier. David is reliable, professional and his workmanship is of an extremely high standard. We were unsure of how big to have the deck, David was very helpful in helping us to decide, providing 3D designs of our space (incorporating future landscaping ideas we have for our garden) and researching the ideal deck size for the type of entertaining we do. He was also very knowledgeable about the various hardwoods available and the best fit for our intended use and budget. David will definitely be our “go to guy” for all our future landscaping projects, I really feel like you are getting first class workmanship for a very reasonable price.

I started working for David (Andersen Landscapes) in early 2007 and spent the next 4 years learning my trade from him. His attention to detail and commitment to finishing projects on time was something that I took away and used as the base for setting myself up when he left the UK. I was often complimented on the quality of my work and will always be thankful to David for the hours he spent teaching me the trade. Solid tradesman who delivers!

David is a very diligent and skilled carpenter - who specializes in exterior patio features using exotic hardwoods such as Ipe, Tigerwood, Mukulungu and Red Balau (Batu). Working with these types of wood requires a certain skill level and an attention to detail that is not commonplace amongst Contractors - and for that reason alone he represents a valuable resource to clients considering these species of lumber for their deck or patio. David is a great guy to deal with, hard working, honest and dependable. If you're considering an Outdoor Living Space using Cedar, Hardwood or Synthetics (Trex, Azek or TimberTech) and you live in Lower mainland BC, we're happy to recommend David as a reliable Contractor and preferred customer of POCO Building Supplies. I used David Anderson for multiple complex projects. His attitude was extremely businesslike and approachable (as was the crew working for him). He and his crew were on time and often worked late to finish on budget and time. In terms of the quality of work, I was very pleased with the final product, we often called David back to do other projects and consult on design.
