My favourite place to order bespoke furniture... handcrafted, unique, great quality and excellent customer service. I’ve been buying from Iris since 2014 and have over 12 items and will be ordering more. I’ve recommended Iris to my friends and they have been super delighted too.

Best I can say about Iris Furnishing is that their business is a lot bigger than their capacity to manage it and their customers. Everything that should be simple is not; they are almost never proactive, almost never volunteer anything. If an order is running months late you have to contact them. They are a bit like the boy who cried wolf because there is always a new sob story and I'm not heartless, I do have sympathy for them... but they're running a business and it's their job to deal with these things. If they promise a delivery on a certain day they should meet that commitment; if they can't do it themselves then they should outsource it rather than just break yet another promise in a long string of broken promises. I wish I could say "they try hard" but it doesn't really look to me like they are in it like they mean business. Pity because their furniture truly is lovely, and credit where it's due, when we found they'd made a mistake in our custom order they agreed to fix it. Watch out for their "no quibble returns policy" though. We tried to activate it and they, uh, quibbled. A lot. But when backed into a corner they finally did honour it, so there's that.

When I originally started to look for some Indian inspired furniture for our house, I was halfway over to Lahore before I found the koh-i-noor of a company that is Iris Furnishing. The fact that this is a UK based company which ships in from India had me enraptured, and then when visiting their site I almost exploded with wide eyed happiness. The White Metal Embossed Sideboard we purchased is magically constructed, a frequent point of discussion for any guests and is a beautiful enhancement to all rooms. The service we received from the chaps who ran the company was top class, and I only wished I was at home when they delivered, to thank them personally. Do yourself a favour and buy something from Iris, it would turn your house into a Mahal.

Purchasing pieces with Iris Furnishing is far from a typical trip to your local furniture shop. It has really been a collaborative process. We have worked with Iris on 3 projects now: 2 big almirah armoires for our bedroom; a coat closet, a shoe rack and a small console for our entrance; and now a vitrine, entertainment console, sideboard for our living room and...a trash can – yes you read right! There are 3 main reasons why we keep coming back: - Bespoke: Small spaces in Paris apartments means the need for pieces that are tailored yet functional. Whether it’s height, color or design, Iris Furnishing has repeatedly met each specific demand. - Personal: Some of the items that I have asked for have been the result of very specific ideas. Others have not. Each time though, we have had a personalized experience, complete with phone calls, sketches and pictures. - Cost: And all of the above comes at affordable prices! You really get good value for your money. Not to mention all the compliments from guests. It’s a 3-way tie between our yellow coat closet, the mother of pearl shoe rack and the almirah as our guests’ most favored piece. A family business with a lot of heart, I could not recommend Iris Furnishing more!

I ordered two beautiful bone inlay Indian bedside tables from Iris furnishing and the product exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend their products.
