Flourish Life Design

We engaged Delappe of Flourish Life Designs to guide us through the major renovation of our home. The scope of work included paint schemes inside and out, window selection, kitchen, bathroom & ensuite design including tiles, lightening, decorating children's bedrooms and living area. Delappe "got us"! It was so easy and enjoyable to work with her, resulting in a home the we love and that captures our personality and history of the house. We have 3 young children and were busy enough with work and the building phase of the renovation. Engaging an Interior Designer was worth every dollar. It would not have been an enjoyable process dragging children around to choose tiles! During the design and planning of the renovation Delappe assisted with room layouts and window selections, taking me to visit homes so I could see how things could look and be applied to our job. Delappe helped guide us through the arduous task of the paint scheme, she allowed us to work through and process our ideas until we settled on colour then helped us refine the details. Once the construction was nearing completion we then looked at decorating and finishes, she created mood boards for the areas we were focusing on at the time. I enjoyed having a targeted shopping list which I could action in my own time, she took me shopping trip to buy lighting, wall paper, mirrors. Delappe also helped with soft furnishings having cushions made through Indian Summer Home. The house is a work in progress and we will engage Delappe in the future to decorate other areas of the home.
