I had the pleasure of working with Nate at HUG Construction. HUG, and Nate specifically has been an exceptional contractor for our Dream home, and we could not be happier with the results. From start to finish, Nate's professionalism and expertise shone through. (Also, a huge shot out to Angie and Lisa in their office, Tyler+framing crew, and Titus, the owner. Their team is truly top-notch.) Before finding HUG, we contacted and briefly worked with six other well-known builders in the Spokane area. Granted, this was just after Covid, but we experienced an extreme lack of communication, contradicting information, and bad quotes. We felt very much "How much $ can we get out of these people." Our lender asked if we had called HUG because he had heard great things. From our first meeting, they were ready to move as fast as we were, which was refreshing. They gave us quick "ballpark" numbers that helped narrow down what we wanted to build. We felt very welcomed and could tell exceptional customer service was something they valued. They managed our project with excellent efficiency, all while allowing me the freedom to pick the materials that I wanted. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship were truly impressive. They have a builders app that makes all aspects of building extremely convenient. The app included progress updates, photos, notes from crews, tentative timelines, change orders, and selections. Lisa and Nate both provided wonderful ideas and locations for finishes. Many local suppliers work with Hug frequently, offering great prices, which was much appreciated! Between the app and the office staff, everything was so well organized. They always kept us informed and addressed any concerns promptly. The communication with Nate was PHENOMENAL. I could always count on him to be upfront, transparent, and pick up my call even when I know he may not have wanted to ;) Nate and the staff's commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction. So far, so good with my kitchen remodel. All of the staff has been great to work with. Great communication!

I used Hug con. on a plumbing project adding a new bathroom in my basement. They gentlemen showed up on time was courteous asking before beginning if we were good with current plan and any questions I have. They completed the first phase of plumbing then we implement our sweat equity all the building of the room. We did all the necessary construction flooring and priming for completion. Hug construction returned to complete their portion on second phase of plumbing. Upon conversating with the young man running the job I explained we were stuck on building the secure wall for bathtub wrap around piece. The young man offered to add this retaining wall for the tub which was just awesome as far as having correct quality work as we youtube a lot! He also offered to quote me setting up the sink and toilet as we were going to do this ourselves as well. Hug con. really came through with their quality work and flexibility on our job. The quote for our job by two other company's Hug con. still underbid both which was a nice change of pace. I get a lot of run around from other agency on different jobs they see a single mom who needs "lots" of extra work. Thanks guys for the top notch work and good pricing I would recommend your company to my family and friends!

The entire Hug team was wonderful- from helping us pick fixtures all the way to the finish work. They operate with the highest integrity and honesty. We feel fortunate to have found them!

HUG Construction has completed many jobs for both of our homes. Anywhere from completely renovating our lower level in our Lake house, Rebuilding and expanding our large Trex dock, to Building a Large Tree house for our backyard . And most recently completely remodeling our family room from top to bottom. I can’t say enough good things about Titus Hug and his company. The remodels were completed in a timely manner, his crew was amazingly meticulous , and his designer Josh is very talented and was super helpful in implementing our plans. We plan on doing another larger remodel on our home and HUG construction will no doubt be the company that we choose!

Hug Construction has the best team! They care about the details and are always willing to go out of their way to make things beautiful. They have worked on several projects for our rental properties over the last few years and each one has turned out looking great.

HUG did a fantastic job on our upstairs remodeling project, which included our kitchen / dining / living / laundry rooms, entry and hallway, and master bath. Custom fireplace build, custom shower and a one-of-a-kind custom stairwell railing are just part of the project that they undertook for us. Josh and his team kept everyone on track, on time and on budget. We used HUG previously to do a complete remodel of our basement, and didn't hesitate to reach out to them again for this project. We absolutely love our "new" home and would highly recommend HUG Construction to anyone looking for remodel or custom build work!

Our family has had the pleasure of working with Titus Hug and the Hug Constructions crew for many years now and they have always done a great job for others and have always been professional, reliable, trustworthy and affordable. Recently they did an entire kitchen remodel for us and we have been simply delighted with the results. These guys are AWESOME!!!

HUG Construction did a fabulous job on our upstairs remodel (Living, Dining, Kitchen, Master Bedroom & Bath, Laundry) and we would highly recommend them to anyone in the Spokane, WA, vicinity. Josh and his team were able to take our ideas & thoughts and transform them into reality for us. And when we were stuck ourselves on what we wanted to do, both Josh and Titus were able to provide design help to get us through it, especially on the new fireplace and the custom designed stairwell railing. Every contractor and worker was professional and on time, the entire project was completed in less than 2 months, and it all came in at the budget we set originally for it. The scope of our project was fairly large, at least for us ... new tile flooring throughout, removed & re-laid wood flooring, heated sub-floor installed under the tiling in the master bath, existing cabinet re-facing & new cabinets added, new countertops & tile backsplash in kitchen and bathroom, new shower with glass enclosure, new lighting, new trim and new paint throughout. It feels like we have a brand new house now, and we absolutely love it!
