I am an investor in a property that is in a great location but needed to be completely rebuilt. Lots of permits and working with the city. Added central heat and air. All walls redone, flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Moved some walls and actually removed stairs to create more space in the upstairs and downstairs units that are actually separate. Since it is a higher end neighborhood the finishes in the property are appropriate for the location, They have a professional designer who provides valuable input. With their low overhead they offer value.

Being a new investor, it was very important for me to make the right connections and screen companies. WoodBaker is by far the best encounter and representation of true contracting services. I love how accommodating, professional, and intuitive they are. Having someone that handles their business that doesn’t need babysitting to get the job done not only makes new acquisitions more profitable, it also takes a lot of stress out of the process.

Matt and team undertook this rather challenging task of renovating a 100 yr old building in Heights. While the total time took longer than original estimate - the quality of the work was great and that resulted in new lease prices above the original estimates.

I hired WoodBaker to renovate a property I wanted to list for sale. It is an old house and had been occupied by a tenant for 10+ years that had not treated it well. Luckily the home didn't need any major systems repaired, and they understood the kinds of cosmetic repairs and updates that would add the most value to the property prior to listing for sale. The project took a little longer than estimated as unexpected items came up (old house), but the crew's follow through and continuous status updates helped offset the delay. Other than a couple of change orders I approved they stuck to the original budget. Highly recommended.

Matt and his crew were great to work with. Matt was straightforward on his recommendations and his pricing was very reasonable. He was quick to respond to any questions and kept me informed on everything going on. His well-rounded experience with other aspects of real estate aids him with his contracting work and advising. The work completely changed the look of the condo and provided a fresh update.
